OK. Fine. The approval of bump stocks was wrong then, and they are still wrong now. I don’t care who approved them. That exercise serves no purpose. If blaming someone else is what it takes to get some action on gun control, so be it. Let Republicans face off against the NRA for a while.

Non sequitur. Whataboutism. It wouldn’t matter if the Obama’s ATF had approved bazookas for sale to the general public as well. The problem with bump stocks is now! The policy solution needs to be developed now! The Obama administration, sadly, is history.

Someone needs to ask them to reconcile their blame here with previous statements that Obama was trying to round up all the guns and was a tyrannical force countering gun owners’ rights. In short, they can’t. They simply use the nearest convenient excuse to blame the nearest Democrat in power.
