Republicans want to impeach the President? Please proceed…
I bet that was “Libs.”
Impeach the guy who brought home a prisoner of war, celebrate the guy who started the wars…
Say, huh, what?
Yes.
I think these idiots know they don’t have the goods to impeach, and certainly not to convict, the President, but they see a value in merely keeping the idea of impeachment in the headlines. In this fashion, they try to anchor Obama with the designation of “impeachable” without ever having to test the theory.
More and more, the GOP wingnuts attempt to create the impression that al-Qaeda and the Taliban are interchangeable parts, neither more or less terroristic than the other, which is, of course, pure bullshit.
Of course. Silly rabbit.
So, they want to impeach him for saving an American and they want to impeach him for killing 4 Americans in BENGHAZI!!!111!!! Obama is never going to please these guys, at least not until he changes the color of his skin.
In a base election in which both parties are fighting to turn out their base you don’t do anything to help the opposition party in that regard. Especially if it will benefit more from an energized base.
A drowning man catches at a straw. GOPTP is now in RESCUE MODE.
That sounds about right.
They know damn well they wouldn’t be successful in removing him if they went ahead with impeachment.
If there’s ever been a more reactionary bunch of demagogues in politics< I must have missed them. These guys are unmitigated bigots determined to destroy America’s first black POTUS.
Who the hell in their right minds believe this will ever happen? The GOP would go down as the Party that impeached a President for bringing home a Prisoner of the enemy. He wasn’t a POW Congress never issued a Declaration of War, so he had to be on a fools errand…
I really like it when Obama sends the right wing hanging from the rafters. Perhaps they will all have heart attacks and we’ll all be done with them.
These guys are such buffoons to any reasonably informed person.
But to their base they’re “smart”.
Napolitano said impeaching Obama over the prisoner swap is a “very valid argument that people are going to start talking about.”
And I can guess which people. Hmmm. Ted Cruz. John Boehner. Sean Hannity. Rush Limbaugh. Sarah Palin. Or, as Harvey Kurtzman and Al Feldstein would have said, “The usual gang of idiots.”
Obviously self-reflection is not in their bag of tricks.

Gotta remember, these people are incapable of shame or good judgement, if indeed any kind of prudent judgement at all.
there have been a couple of times when I actually thought I was reading “Benghazi” when it was “Bergdahl”. The context for both are pretty much the same.
