Of course theyâre convinced BLM is a hate group. Anything less might legitimize them.
The conservative movement has been overcome by racist fear that the US will soon no longer be a âwhiteâ dominated nation. Among the many things they donât understand is that it is already too late.
For years, most conservatives were able to keep their smug racism hidden because the US political process was dominated by white politicians. Things have changed.
And to those that might think it matters, I am a 40 something very white professional.
PS: as a 40 something white professional, I get entry by those who donât really know me into private candid conversations by others of my âclassâ who assume I think as they do. Itâs both fascinating and disturbing. Smug is the word. Many never dreamed Obama had any chance of winning the election. If I suggested otherwise, I was smugly dismissed as naive. It was widely assumed among this group that people in large numbers lied to pollsters out of white guilt but of course would vote in overwhelming numbers for the white guy in the privacy of the voting booth. Itâs hard to exaggerate how large and certain this group was. We even saw it in 2012. The reactions we have witnessed since Obamaâs election is a reflection of the very real shock that hit these smug assholes right in the face.

Why does OâReilly hate white people so much? Really. How could you think that telling police officers not to kill black people indiscriminately is a racial attack unless you think that white police officers are a bunch of racist murderers?

Itâs classic right-wing media spin at work here. Plant the seed in the a.m., get a big name like OâReilly to repeat it in the p.m., Limbaugh will no doubt repeat it on air today, and voila! Youâve got a bullshit right-wing talking point that sticks as political fact. But the thing is, these days this shit only sticks with the choir theyâre singing to - scared witless old white religious nuts. Of course some equally full-of-shit ânewsâ organization like CNN will entertain the idea because âboth sides!â. But to everybody else itâs obvious propaganda, and aimed yet again at demographics the GOP needs to remain viable. All theyâre going to do with this is alienate everybody else at the expense of the ratings from rage-aholics and terrified geriatrics.
This needs to be repeated. I married into a very conservative family, and at one point worked several years for a fairly conservative organization. As another white male that gets overlooked as a liberal, Iâve seen the âinsideâ - so to speak - of how these people see the world and what they really think. Honest racism runs absolutely rampant in these circles of people. The idea that the Republican party isnât chalk-full of outright racists is laughable. Itâs at the core of the majority of their motives.

Sorry but to me it is the Conservatives who are the hate group. Plenty of evidence to back that statement up too.
The thug police actions have brought on whatever is happening to the police being killed not the black lives matter movement. That is long overdue. The cops are to blame and we need to keep the pressure on them to stop giving citizens a death sentence for misdemeanor âcrimesâ.
Cops are the ones killing, robbing and raping people with impunity. They are killing us in their jails by withholding insulin and other necessary medications. People in jail for putting their feet up on a subway. It is insane. The person arrested for that was injecting insulin into their thigh. They died in the hands of the cops. This is what is pissing everyone off. No one should have to die for something as stupid as a lane change with no signal, jaywalking, walking on the road, etc.
If the cops want to stop what is happening then they need to be held accountable for their thug, criminal actions.

Cops donât deserve to be fucking executed by dirtbags. Thatâs just bullshit. Thereâs zero justification. Iâve known dozens of cops and Iâd say that maybe two or three were power tripping assholes. The rest are just doing their job and trying to get home safely.
The problem here is a lack of mutual respect between the police and the policed, with the fault for the dynamic often laying at the feet of the police. This is especially stark in certain communities. This is on the police departments, who ought train their officers to be courteous and deferential. Donât harass people for stupid shit; if you feel compelled to stop someone for jaywalking or failing to signal, just give a warning and donât escalate the situation. Focus on actual dangerous actors. Donât shoot your weapon unless you or the public face imminent danger If you canât do that, get another fucking job. In short, be a goddamned professional or GTFO

In my opinion, most of the people who cant figure out the point of BLM are people who have never been on the business end of a âsituationâ and canât empathize enough to imagine what it is like to be hassled by the police.
Just imagine BillOâs response if he was driving back home from a shopping spree at the âYe Olde Loofah Shoppeâ and a black cop pulled him over simply because he made eye contact with him. And while he was being stopped the cop treated him like an honest to goodness criminal. No respect. No deference. Just this lingering vibe that he is looking for something ANYTHING to crack BillOâs skull and take him in.
Hard to get that perspective when all their experiences with cops are them kissing their collective ass.

As far as BLM hating anyone it seems they only dislike those most inclined to side with them and help them. According to BLM there is an âunderlying racism in the Democratic partyâ and Hillary Clinton doesnât care about the plight of Black people. Sanders too.
Why Billâo and the FOX crowd bother is beyond me. BLM is a very poorly led group with a âfuck youâ mission statement. Itâs proclivity for pissing off folks previously sympathetic to them, burning bridges and itâs FTW attitude doom it. Itâs NOT going to achieve shit. Thatâs too bad because the BLM idiots are going to de-legitimze efforts to advance Blacks in America. Just like Occupy killed any chance of socking Wall Street these guys are going to kill the modern Civil Rights Movement.

Exactly. And stuff like the chant of "pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon," is just asinine. Oh, they claim this was just an isolated thing, etc. Yet on this site if some white guys had made similar comments about blacks, it would be a headline, and would reflect the entire mindset of the whole group. Neither of those things are productive, and they achieve nothing except feeding the egos of the assholes chanting them.
BLM makes OWS look mellow. And as you said, they say âeff youâ to people who can help them. How to win friends and influence peopleâŚ
The reality is that they are making things WORSE for blacks. And plenty of people on here (like myself) were talking about how Tea Party leaders rhetoric led to violence against minorities, and we were 100% correct. Well, the stupidity I hear from much of BLMâs leadership is NO different, and has also led to violent acts.
There is no reason why FOX News and BLM both canât be a-holes.
