Apparently, these right-wingers think the only definition of “hack” is to deface a web page, like spray-painting a front door. That is their simplistic reading of the problem PP faced. “Duh, hey, I don’t see no problem with the front window. Whaddaya mean it was burgled?”

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is that a DDoS attack would not alter the code whatsoever. Rather, it simply overloads the site’s traffic by faking it out so as to prevent any real people from accessing the site. as I understand it, the hacker controls a ton of computers like zombies via trojans or what-not and then busies them sending requests to the site so that it becomes so occupied with responding to the hacker’s zombie army that it cannnot respond to legit users. Can anyone confirm that or explain it better? If I’m right, then what we have here is more “false flag” accusations that are, in fact, just tinfoil hatted lies…they are deliberately lying and misdirecting their audience into believing that a hack can only be related to alteration of the source code so as to essentially claim that they are being victimized by PP attempting to monetize this nontroversy.

After manipulating the popular media and gutless politicians in exactly the same way with ACORN, these same stormtroopers are trying to destroy a truly wonderful, venerable, mainstream organization. I understand that the RWNJ media and Rupert’s rumor mills will amplify these lies. How supposed journalists at regional dailies and the news networks allow themselves to be used by these demonstrably dishonest operatives is astounding.

Republicans are claiming that Planned Parenthood faked a hack to get donations? In any kind of universe that made sense, Planned Parenthood wouldn’t need donations, as conservatives would be throwing money at Planned Parenthood by the truckload.
