that is ā€œnot something I’m hearing back home in my district.ā€

Everyone in NC is preoccupied with their next shift on bathroom trans patrol, doesn't leave much time to think about 2020.

Yeah, I am sure that’s not what you are hearing in your gerrymandered district full of deplorable dipshits.

I know for a fact that is true…because they’re still too preoccupied with lynching effigies of Lincoln and Grant.

ā€œConservative Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) pushed back on Republicans’ hesitancy to offer full throated support of President Donald Trump’s 2020 bidā€¦ā€

So true.

His GOP concubines in Congress give nothing but ā€œfull throated supportā€ to Donald.

Usually while on on their knees.

ā€œFull-throated supportā€, you say?

Get on board. It’s all right here, in the TRUMP 2020 RE-ELECTION PLAYBOOK :

Meadows is also not hearing:

  1. Global warming is real.
  2. Evolution is real.
  3. There is no such thing as ā€˜n-clang! blood.’
  4. This tariff crap is gonna ruin my business!

Go for it, you two-faced moron. We’ll tie Trump like an anvil around your neck and throw you both to the sharks.

Hell these are trump supporters. With their level of knowledge, I’m willing to bet they’re just as concerned with the illegal immigration on the North carolina-Mexico border. It’s the worst it’s ever been!

The anger they harbor over being locked out of picking fruit, nailing shingles, cleaning hotel rooms, cutting lawns and washing dishes is more than they can bear.

Republicanism has gone through such transformations, just in my lifetime.

What started as a big-tent, surprisingly diverse and mature political party with moderate and even liberal members as well as conservatives and, always, a handful of paleoconservatives, was transformed and purified by the Great Purge (launched at the Goldwater Convention of 1964) into a conservative activist party.

Then, the dark-money alchemy of Reaganism and Gingrichism took it beyond mere right-activism and transformed it into a reactionary cult that shattered the old democratic norms through a combination of propaganda and nullification.

And now, with the rise of Trump, it is morphing once again, transgressing its own disturbing boundaries: this time transitioning before our eyes into a potentially quite violent fascist movement whose followers (and leaders) are so indifferent to constitutional norms and democratic governance that you sense there is probably nothing left to stop them from extraordinarily dangerous and lethal transgressions.
