An absolute, utter freakshow. Abuse victims trotted out so “the family” can continue to make that sweet, sweet TLC money. A belief system that treats women as second class citizens. A patriarch that won’t even communicate with female restaurant staff. When you start veering off in the wackadoodle end of the spectrum with any of the Abrahamic religions, it seems women get screwed.
I hope (no, no…I won’t be a prayin’) that some of these children experience true freedom that can only come through knowledge and experience. I mean the worldly kind…
