and noā¦the 10th amendment couldnāt be used to reinstitute slavery once again. Though at one point, chain gangs were illegal at some pointā¦nah.

Great idea! Then Iowans, or the people of whatever state, will have to foot the bill for feeding, housing, and taking care of these folks and these folks can take jobs from other Americansā¦ oh wait, isnāt that exactly why they want these people to leave?

As I posted several times beginning a couple weeks agoā¦I think the derp coming from the woodwork of the right will get wider and deeper to the point of complete and utter insensibility. We are already close to it now 15 months from the election. On the other hand this could be a campaign to render the population immune to idiocy and thereby elect a fringe fascist candidate much like a certain country in central Europe in 1933. At that time it took a world wide depression to get people to crave the fringe candidate. Now it takes a full fledged media onslaught of daily thoughtless derp from all directions to desensitize voters. Look at the 14th amendment. Thereās very important stuff there in section 1 beyond birthright citizenship. Trump wants to get rid of due process and equality before the law which is exactly what happened in germany in the years after 1933ā¦ recall how that turned out for them. Do we want to go down that road? It was my understanding the right vakued our freedoms so now theyāre willing to toss them out for a blowhard megalomaniac like Trump? Jeebus on a crackerā¦ whereās my bourbon?
Btw: this is well past chain gangs. This nut case radio guy is advocating concentration camps and slavery and canāt even see it.

If a democrat proposed (and they did) something like affordable health insurance for everybody the right had a hissy fit over how to pay for it.
Now we havw the GOP talking about deporting 11 million people, building 2000 miles of wall, tripling the size of the Border patrol and Beefing up the militaryā¦ and thatās just Trumpās litany. Now we have a radio host wanting to reinstitute slaver and concentration campsā¦ In all this has one conservative spoke about the cost? How are we gonna pay for all this? Are we gonnaā¦ ahemā¦ raise the income tax? Raise the business income tax (which Trump would never support)? Why isnāt some āreputed to be a journalistā guy asking the candidates about the cost of all this that they propose?

But do remember that it was that pesky Iowa radio guy who proposed the illegals be state property and that theyād be given forced labor. And as state property is it any kind of stretch to assume the state must house and feed this new hoard of state property? And would not the state find that the easiest way to house, feed, and control these millions of people would be to do it in concentration camps? Iām gonna do a web search to see what German sounding town names there are in Iowa, ā¦ Dachau? Treblinka? Bergen Belsen? I visited Dachau and Auschwitz in 1968 and came away with several months of nightmares. Out of a sense of propriety Iām not gonna repeat what I easily found 24 years after the end of that war at those two sitesā¦
Iām not generally given to going Godwin on anyone but thisā¦this is serious stuff this radio jock is suggesting and it really does need to be confronted.
