It’s that simple. When Chuck Todd was allowed to pass himself off as a “journalist” and portrayed John Boehner’s near-seditious act of PUTTING THE DEPARTMENT OF HOME SECURITY ON A THREE-WEEK EXTENSION (instead of normally funding an agency responsible for the nation’s security) as a “calculation that Boehner played badly” and nothing more, he abrogated his responsibities for someone in his position.
It’s such a “normal” part of the moral cesspool in which Todd operates, that to question it seems “abnormal”.
That’s why I question it here, where people are “abnormally” progressive.
When that “abnormality” become more of a part of something that is desired and sought, we will have turned a corner, as a nation.

I’d love to know what her thinking is…assuming she actually can think. They’re under no obligation to listen to the head of state of another country, especially since foreign policy is specifically delegated to the President in the Constitution. I’d much prefer they were actually doing some work for the American People, you know, those folks they supposedly represent. Personally I think anyone wasting their time listening to this guy’s speech should be docked pay for the time they’re wasting on it.

When certain members of the Supreme Court skip the speech our President gives annually to Congress etc, crickets from the Right. When certain members of Congress skip a speech of a foreign leader subversively scheduled, they should be hung. Why does she hate America so much?

Conservatives hate public education because The Poors (AKA black brown kids) might get educated. The fact that a not insignificant portion of the GOP support comes from poor white uneducated voters is a feature, not a bug.
