Discussion: Conservative Groups Cheer On Revolt Against GOP Draft O'Care Replacement

I love how they’ve unintentionally called out their own people on being a bunch of blowhards who can only say No to things and are unable to legislate even given a 6 year head start.

It would be a stunning level of political hypocrisy if Republicans failed to follow through.

And right in character. Hey the one thing you can says about Republicans is they are pretty consistent.

Six years of ‘over’ promising and they still can’t deliver. :cry:Sad ™.

So why didn’t Club For Growth and Freedom Works send body guards to Republican legislator’s townhalls?

Good luck with that assholes.

BTW, Cruz is always revolting, and not in the active verb sense. Gah.

Once again, Cruz is at the forefront of bomb throwing in Congress.

"After nearly seven years, it’s time for Republicans to follow through on their promises and repeal ObamaCare by using the 2015 reconciliation bill as the baseline,”

Like all alternative-fact based zealots, they fail to realize that if their horrid policies become reality, so many people will be hurt by it that it would likely seriously harm the reelection efforts of the GOPers elected by said zealots: the destruction of the health care system would possibly hurt enough to trumpers and tea parties that some of them would even wake up.

Of course, it’d be a horribly high price to pay to get rid of them, so let’s hope we can pay a lower price to vote them out.

These same groups would also cheer if Americans dropped dead in the streets or died years before their time due to lack of access to reasonably priced health care.

The purpose of politics is to figure out ways to make life better for most people. It isn’t supposed to be an end in itself. The Republicans have nobody to blame but themselves if they are coming to the realization that repealing the ACA is going to make life worse for most people. They should tell the conservative groups to go fuck themselves.

Bring back double-digit health insurance rates.

Businesses will pay it, and if they don’t, what’s the worst that can happen?

Dead constituents don’t vote.
