Discussion: Conservative Group 'Testing' Target By Sending Men To Women's Bathrooms

The more appropriate term then ā€œtestingā€ would be ā€œharassingā€

What magical barrier existed last year? Did God establish a force field at all Target restrooms for women which prevented men from entering? Which the greater combined power of Satan and Target have destroyed?

I’m unclear on the details here. I clearly remember using Target men’s rooms in the past year without providing a birth certificate, a passport, a driver’s license or a state id, and without showing my genital equipment to the Target gender examiner.

Were I a religious person, and my religion had a place called ā€œHellā€, there would be an express entrance for people demonizing those in the LGBT community, and the poor, and others they mocked and belittled and chose to make targets of violence and hatred.

Testing by sending men into women’s bathrooms. Do they have any concept of what the idea of gender identity even means? Of course not. Can they cite a case of a transgendered person preying on people in bathrooms–or anywhere for that matter? Of course not. Could we cite cases of transgendered people being assaulted, raped, and murdered? It would only take a three second search of Google to find numerous instances.

Political predators practicing perverted politics.

Silly, since if the NC laws are observed, guys with beards SHOULD BE seen entering the Women’s bathroom, if the equipment they were born with is female. It would make more sense to have men enter the women’s bathrooms in NC, to make sure that people are following the law and not stopping them. The ignorance is strong in these ones…

I think a few arrests are in order, on the well-founded suspicion that these are sexual predators. A few hours in a holding cell might be enlightening for these boys.

In fact, any woman who’s present in the rest room should start screaming, ā€œRAPE!!!ā€ Protest over.

May their next assignment be to walk off a high cliff o see if the law of gravity protects citizens who are forbidden by the state from operating a hot-air balloon without a license.

So they create the fantasy they say they oppose.

I can’t wait for the AFA to submit the videos that they took that will prove their ā€˜case’.
Could be a bit awkward, doncha think??

As usual, the only ā€œpredators taking advantageā€ are these purient, conservative freaks acting as self-appointed genital inspectors and toilet guardians.

Why is it well founded and how will you be able to tell? Maybe they just ā€œfeltā€ like a woman or a man at the time. Being transgender they dont actually have to go through the surgical procedure to be considered assigned to any sex right? Identifying with that sex is what is important.

I see big problems coming down the road on this one!

There are some very strange folk among the right wing. This sort of ā€œcreating a problemā€ where none exists is part of why I think of conservatism as the Dark Sideā„¢.

So I assume they’re not sending transgendered men, who may look indistinguishable from other men, into women’s bathrooms? What about transgendered women, who may look indistinguishable from other women, into the men’s room? And are they spying on non transgendered men entering the men’s rooms to see if they’re perving out on little boys? Because I guess that’s always been legal and was never an issue until 2016, right?.

Something tells me these people aren’t thorough in their approach.

There never was. Unless I’ve just missed the bathroom police every time I’ve used a public restroom.

This is the next wave, the ratcheting up to the next level. Mark my word, it’s coming. One day a woman (or a man interceding on her behalf) is going to accost and shoot a transgender person using a woman’s bathroom.

Anita Staver, president of the theocratic law group The Liberty Counsel, issued a thinly veiled death threat to transgender people via Twitter. Staver says she will carry a gun to Target so she can shoot transgender bathroom users:

I’m taking a Glock .45 to the ladies room. It identifies as my bodyguard. #BoycottTarget @Target

Staver’s Liberty Counsel is a Christian hate group that represented Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who went to jail because she refused to issue same-sex marriage licenses.
Anita Staver, Liberty Counsel’s president, is married to Mat Staver, head of the legal team that defended Davis in her effort to deny same-sex couples the right to marry.

Keep in mind that there have been more Republican Senators arrested in public bathrooms than transgender people:

Transgender people aren’t going into bathroom to bother anyone. They just want to pee.

ā€˜We’re ā€˜testing’ because we’re aholes…not because it will ever HAPPEN. We ā€˜pretend’ we are ā€˜The American Family’ when we have no commonality to the American Family because again, we are self righteous aholes that no one wants anything to do with.’ I should write their statements for them.

Is ā€œthe American Family Associationā€ gonna create the ā€œpeepee policeā€? and demand to see each person’s equipment prior to admission to a restroom?
And here I thought the right was into less intrusive government.

Uh, no. You could read up, or (although I would feel sorry for them) get to know some transgender people. Or just stop trolling.
