And I have to tell you, I have been nervous about this interview with you, because what I feel like saying is, “Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.”
And I know you’re not. I’m not accusing you of being an enemy, but that’s the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way.

Classic case of projection by the theocrat Beck. He worships the criminal gang leader, serial pedophile rapist, murderer, thief, and theocratic dictator Bring’em Young, whose successors in power continue to deny and obfuscate their history. Clearly participants in other faith traditions must also be of highly suspect loyalty.

With so much blatant religious bigotry going on, especially in the run up to the next presidential election, I truly fear for the US should there be enough crazy people that would hand the office over to a Republican. I would truly wonder just how long it will be before they disregard the Constitution blatantly and require religious tests to hold office and put people of the wrong religion under governmental scrutiny (even more than they already do, in the case of many states).

What is equally disturbing is that, thus far at least, Rep. Ellison appears to be the only Democrat who has directly condemned the abhorrent slurs uttered by Carson, Trump, et. al.

The debate we should be having in this country is not whether President Obama is an Arab and/or Muslim, but whether it is appropriate in the United States to use those terms as epithets.

When I saw this Trump-supporting woman being interviewed by Chris Hayes ramble on, that word was the first thing that came to my mind.

Stats on adherents to a few world religions - Christianity, 2 billion; Islam (Muslim), 1.3 billion; Judaism, 14 million; Mormonism, 12.2 million. So tell me repubs, are there 1.3 billion Islamic terrorists? Or even 130,000 (1/10th of 1 %)? And your last presidential candidate, not even in one of the top 2 religions. Not that it matters - because we don’t have religious tests for office, and we shouldn’t have religious tests for respecting people. But, we do have tests for bigoted assclowns.

America should be far more than “Disturbed.”
Carson’s political career should be OVER.
Harold Stassen should have more prospect of continuing a presidential campaign.
The media ought to just unplug the lights and turn off the cameras whenever and wherever Carson crawls out from under his rock.
But tomorrow, and next week, and next month, during their next “debate” the media will continue to present Carson as some sort of viable candidate. Carson and the other occupants of the Clown Car will have another media-fueled “forum” for more sot brained idiocy disguised how ever thinly as “politics” in America.
What “Disturbs” me even more is that there are people out there behind the giant flat screened “eye” of the “News media” in America who are whispering to themselves that Carson is right.
And the “News media” is doing NOTHING to counter this whispered perception.

I am very disturbed by Carson’s stupid and idiotic remark about never supporting a Muslim presidential contender! This statement alone proves that Carson has no idea what skills are needed to be POTUS!
More importantly, all Americans must know that Christians DO NOT OWN AMERICA!

Democrats need to star co-opting the “religious liberty” meme and steal the thunder from the GOP on this. They talk and talk and talk about religious persecution and sign into law “religious freedom” acts, and here they are advocating for a specific religion over another. Beat them over the head with the accusation that they are attacking the religious freedoms of Americans.
