A spokeswoman for that office said Carpenter… would eventually return to work.

Even if he’s convicted? Seriously?

So he bought the weapon from either a gun show or a gangster. Nice.

Why shouldn’t guns be allowed in a Senate office building? These are the same people who, by their vote, are okay with guns in every other area of our society. Hypocrites much?

What the fuck is he carrying a fucking gun for? Go back to using a rolled up sock in your underwear like regular men.

Hey, he works for the Sergeant at Arms… maybe the cupboard was bare and he wanted to replenish the stock?

Well, yeah, but for the Secret Service. They are having a problem with turnover, and this guy sounds like he’d be a good fit.

Is beating him with his own gun too harsh of a punishment?

…unregistered ammunition…

Really, you have to register ammunition?

Perhaps the gentleman mistook his illegal firearm for his penis enlarger. Both address the same problem.

Is it a violation of his second amendment rights to forbid him to carry any gun he wants where ever he wants?

WTF, How dare Congress pass laws in States allowing open carry and then have the nerve to ban guns in their work places after legislating the rest of us have to put up with it. Screw them.Let them feel the full effects of the laws they pass. Also the NRA bans weapons in their headquarters. Screw them too. Everyone with a gun should show up at both places and let these people see what their actions feel like in the real world.

What am I missing. Why would they care if he had a loaded gun. Just think he might have been the “good guy with a gun that could have stopped a bad guy with a gun”. Congress doesn’t want all load guns being carried by a good guy in their house is that the deal? Hypocrites!.
