The entire US should be bracing for a brutal Spring — the Republicans still hold all of the levers of power and the midterms are months away. So, McConnell promised to bring an immigration bill to vote and if he didn’t back up his words, there was another deadline in 3 weeks. Now McConnell is saying if they use the deadline as leverage he won’t bring up the vote?
