And, frankly, I can think of a lot of reasons why they might want the head of the CIA to feel like heâs got some friends in the Democratic Caucus he can turn to when Trump is, say, demanding they manufacture a causus belli or kill investigations or put incriminating information down the olâ memory hole.
Does this mean heâll be charged with contempt for lying before a Senate committee? He certainly shouldnât be rewarded with a job higher up in the executive branch. If anything, the cops should haul his ass off to jail, pending bail for insider trading and probably a host of other things, and let him have his day in court.
Obviously an ethics investigation in Congress wonât happen because they never take on one of their own. Price has lied repeatedly.
