Youā€™re kinder than I am. At least there are a few days before Tuesday to circulate this and confirm the Clinton campaignā€™s position all along, BUT Comey caused serious damage in a totally partisan, unprofessional manner. I think Iā€™ll carry a grudge for awhile.

I completely agree. This was ridiculous. There was absolutely no reason at all to send that letter. It served to do nothing more than hurt Clinton and for no fucking reason at all. None. Itā€™s just disgusting.

The damage has been done. Not to Clinton, I think if anything the FBIā€™s tampering solidified her base. But to the FBI, they will be cleaning up after this scandal for years. They have broken trust with the country by meddling. And that will not be easy to fix.

I have to imagine POTUS telling Comey to get that statement out the instant they could clear this crap up or heā€™d expect a resignation letter on his desk the morning of the 9th. BHO can handle getting yelled at by Republicans, even if Comey canā€™t.
