Again with the bothsiderism, Jim?
Bucking for a job at AP?
Iâd only go along with your thoughts IF Mr. Mueller agreed that the Barr redactions were justified for critical national secuirty interests or to protect info on the on-going Trump investigations from spoiling those eventual prosecutions.
Comey: "Our attorney general deserves the benefit of the doubt.â
âUnlike our Secretary of State.â
No no no motherfucking no. Iâve said it before and cant stress enoughâŚthey are ALL well past benefit of the doubt.
Hasnât this asshole done enough damage? Go away, Comey!
Grandpa Jimmy! Read us a story!

This isnât even a close call, legally. The Mueller Report chronicles a criminal investigation into the sitting POTUS. Only Congress gets to make any legal determinations based on the evidence collected by the investigators under our laws. Therefore, Congress must have unfettered access to all of the materials comprising Muellerâs investigation.
âBut letâs wait and see,â he said. âThe attorney general deserves that chance.â
Sigh. Why? Weâve already waited and we saw what he put out in that four page report. He was given a chance and he failed.
The folly of youth:
âThe only thing he has to lose, at this point in his career,â Comey said, âis his reputation.â
Barrâs reputation was wrecked decades ago, beginning when he was at the CIA and culminating in his first tour of dereliction in the Bush DOJ.
Barr deserves the benefit of the doubt? cool, because I already doubt him.
I am TIRED of James Comey.
- He was perfectly well aware of Trumpâs ties to Russia and the Russian mob
- He was more aware than most of the dangers of international organized crime
- He knew the Bush administration had somehow âlostâ 22 million emails and that the Russians had hacked both the DNC and the RNC
- He knew he was violating DOJ policy with his letter to Congress about Hilary Clinton
- He knows darn well that Barr isnât the one who decides whether Trump committed obstruction (or any other crime)
If he wonât sit down and shut up, the media needs to stop sticking microphones in his face.
If I were an organizer for one of the hundreds of nation-wide marches on Thursday (which are being called for precisely because Panda Barrâs âbenefit of the doubtâ is used up), I would use this Comey interview for additional motivation.
how would we know what he redacted? We need to see the complete report and all underlieing stuff
âThe only thing he has to lose, at this point in his career,â Comey said, âis his reputation.â
So far, that does not seem to be a stumbling block for anyone attached to Trump. It is a feature not a bug.
No, Jim, he really doesnât - not given Barrâs record of covering up everything he could of the Iran Contra Scandal for the Bush père administration.
âGive him a chance to show us what he feels like he canât show us.â
This makes zero sense. How can he show us what he is hiding? How will we know? This is just a stupid thing to even say, much less try to pass off as legitimate.
The full and unredacted Mueller report is the only acceptable release to Congress.
No.
He does not âdeserveâ anything at all. Neither do you, so what are you out flapping your lips about?
âHaving knowingly tanked the last Presidential Election, by releasing a statement about HRCâs emails against protocol while remaining silent about the Trump campaign working with a hostile foreign government, I now get to express my opinions on everything and they should be sacrosanct. Mueller wasnât aggressive enough when he didnât subpoena the President. Barr, in spite of having campaigned for his appointment by talking about all the ways he could bury the report and protect the President, must be called an honorable man. I, James Comey MUST BE SEEN AS THE VOICE OF REASON.â James Comey STFU!
