“Because all Americans should be celebrated”
How about “Customer Appreciation Month” where you give everybody a 10% discount?

Have they got a GoFundme account yet?
It doesn’t need to be singled out since every day is effectively “White Appreciation Day”.
Please, please, please somebody start a website called ‘Gofuckyourself.com’’ and give these guys the pole position.
Not seeing one.
It’s a little early yet IMO.
The station said the owner is Hispanic and that his parents were from Mexico.
Clearly, self-loathing extends to all races. But, hey -
Stay happy!
According to TripAdvisor, this restaurant is #3 of 3 Restaurants in Milliken. If you can’t serve good barbecue, might as well serve up horseshit.
Only if Hispanics could present their citizen papers I imagine, and black people got the 3/5ths person discount which when factored into the original 10% discount…hmmm, let me see…(10% divided by 3/5ths equals)…uh, any mathematicians here??? (That’s snark btw)
Racial discrimination in pricing, that IS illegal. You can do seniors and or children because they are not protected classes.
Do you just say stupid shit for the hell of it or to try and get a rise out of people here?
Jesus Christ. Milliken.
Years ago, my wife and I were checking out a house there once, when the reek from the nearby sugar beet plant combined with the coincidence of meeting the Town Racist, drove us away.
We suspected this was going to be a wasted trip even before we even reached Milliken, cause we drove through Johnstown first, which has the flagship station for the American Freedom Radio Network in it. You can imagine what THEY broadcast just from their name. Their broadcasts prior to Y2K were some of the best unintentional comedy of the '90s… Pure balls of fire. They haven’t been the same since they accidentally burned down their station.
10% off on June 11th at Rubbin’ Buttz! Yeeeeehaaaaaw!
-White people everywhere (rejoicing at their newfound pride in their race)
I think you’re right, but I think the timeline these days is a bit speeded up with the Faux outrage machine ‘pick-of-the-week’ on the case, typically defending the indefensible, as their mission statement outlines.
I wish (edit: THESE TYPES OF) White People would stop railing against Black History Month as if it is something special being given to only to Black People. We have ALWAYS dedicated months to celebrating/recognizing different heritages…yet Black History month is the only one they complain about.

Instead of investing in racial divisiveness; try investing in a book, dummies.
October
German American Heritage Month
Italian Heritage Month
Polish American Heritage Month
March
Irish American History Month
Scottish American Heritage Month
May
Jewish American Heritage Month
Now the weasely little chickenshits have closed down their website altogether.
And still leaves ALL the other months as White Appreciation months!
And the people who hate these kinds of things don’t understand they’re missing out on some great festivities during said months, if you live in an area where various groups organize. Experience another culture for a bit, listen to some music and have some great food - everybody wins. The big difference is that while others are inclusive, these Rubbin’ Buttz shit bags are intentionally exclusive.
I think it’s generally accepted that whites get all the appreciation they’re after on any given day.
Jennifer McPherson of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies told KUSA that anyone who felt discriminated against by the discount for white people would have recourse to file a complaint.
Yes, the idea was pretty stupid, but really? If you “felt discriminated against,” why the hell did you even go into the restaurant after reading that handwritten sign on the door?
WTF – all the way around.
EDIT: Thanks, CPL593H, for pointing out about the pricing discrimination. Personally, I totally agree, but I also wonder if this may fall into a quasi-legal question about how other businesses offer pricing discounts to the elderly, students, disabled? I’m guessing (hoping) this sort of question has already been addressed in established laws. Does anyone know? Thanks.
I wholeheartedly agree with your observation – as I usually take the time to try and read up on a bit of history, learn something if possible. However, please know that it is only some white (and other) people who rail against the designation, etc. Thanks.
