Oh sure. Colorado is probably listed as “friendly” territory.

Wait? Is Texas about to try to take over Colorado now?

I wish Democrats played the political game a little better. This guy could have easily released a snarky putdown of the dimwits in Texas. We need more Barney Franks and less John Hickenloopers.

Well gosh, do you think he should have to respond to every nuttier than nutty inquiry? I mean this stuff is way beyond Crazyville on the mental hygiene map. The most adequate response I can think of is that this episode should give us a good sense of the kind of human psychology that made the Salem Witchcraft trials possible.

I think I’d respond with something along the lines of, “Silliest thing I’ve heard this year. Well, perhaps with the exception of some of the G.O.P. Presidential contender announcements…”

Dear Texas,

If we were going to conspire against you, it wouldn’t be a military takeover. We’d sell you back to Mexico where you belong.

Maybe he should have said, “I for one welcome our new military overlords”

Like with guns, this is a person who knows what is the right thing to do, but simply to stay in office he doesn’t have the courage to do it. That is actually more shameful.

Getting left off Louie Gohmert’s Christmas card list has to hurt.

Hick has never suffered fools or given credence to ignorance… Ole abbot the crazy is typical of the texass crazies…

Move along1

Balls of brass, gov.

Misleading headline. According to the article, his aide just said he hasnt made a statement on this.Thats a whole lot different from him saying he isnt commenting on it.

Has anyone asked Sarah Palin about this? She lives in AZ, part of the exercise area.

Admit it, you want the gubmit to come and take my guns!

Actually, I’d be fine with that cause I haven’t been able to find them since Reagan’s second term. At least I’d know where they are…could you come for my car keys next? I know the damn things are around here somewhere.

I don’t think a snarky response would elicit a further reply. It’s possible that people on the far right in Colorado will be forced by their constituents to address this governor from the “Democrat Party” who isn’t commenting on an impending annexation of Colorado by the United States.

“Governor Hickenlooper has not issued any statements. Thanks for checking.”

That wasn’t the question. The question was for him to issue a statement.
