Discussion for article #227167
By “New Kind of Republican”, he means a pandering sycophant who wants to have it both ways, although he thinks he means “Democrat”. Unfortunately for him, there is already one of those in the race.
Thanks, we’re all set, though.
This one takes his Hypocritical Oath seriously serious.
Wow, all it takes to get labeled a “new” kind of Republican is superficial basic support for birth control and renewable energy?
Talk about the soft bigotry of low expectations…
Over the counter birth control is the new Republican way of saying that no woman in America will have birth control covered by health insurance. While sounding like a compromise it is really pulling the rug out from under a female.
Why?
Females will still need to go to the doctor to be advised on the kind of birth control and dosage needed. The visit to discuss birth control will no longer be covered by insurance and neither will tests that could be required before birth control is recommended.
The will be denied the most effective types of birth control that don’t come in pill form, because they will not be covered by insurance.
The cost of birth control will instantly go up as much most insurance has co-pays from 5 to 20 dollars. Birth control over the counter costs at a minimum 30 and as much as 80 dollars per month.
This is no favor it is a trick to trap uninformed voters.
This new snake oil smells exactly like the old brand.
And they both smell like shit.
NO REPUBLICAN PERIOD should get one vote from anyone. They do not deserve to be elected to any office. Their agenda is horrible for this nation and it’s citizens. Only the top benefit from GOP proposals at the cost to everyone else.
