Lock him up along with his client.

And if there’s a 10% chance of rain, and it rains, you’re not going to get only 10% wet.

This Buzzfeed report is just more evidence that Trump didn’t expect to win, the people around him didn’t expect to win, the Russians didn’t expect him to win. Like the old cartoon said of the dog, “chasing it is fine, but what are you going to do when you catch it?”

Rudy: “Suprised ? Not at all, I knew about it all along… Is this mike on ?”

True.

I think Rudi is dirty as hell there, and may well be under investigation himself by Mueller. He is a repulsive excuse for a human being. I would love to see him charged.

The notion of a lawyer responding “no comment” feels lost in the mists of time at this point.

Sure, why not? Why not parry and snipe? Why not crack a joke about your client’s criminal exposure? What’s the worst that can happen?

The bitcoin saga has served as a quick introduction to Silicon Valley techbros for why our financial system has this feature and that feature and the other feature. Perhaps the illustrious Rudolphius Q. M. Giuliani XIV can serve as an inspiration to our next generation of lawyers, as an object lesson in why you do all the things the books tell you to do. You may show them that standards and practices exist for a reason.

Rudy is such a dumb motherfucker. If Donald wasn’t even dumber, he’d have no work at all. The one good thing Rudy does for the rest of us is spill too much info.

Rudy is easy to read.

When he is trying to get ahead of a bombshell he waves a shiny thing or makes an outlandish knowingly untrue statement.

When the story comes out he attempts to brush it off. Which means the story is substantially true. There is no middle ground.

He’s horrible at this.

You can read him like a marked deck.

Just in, Rudy Giuliani’s response to Buzzfeed story: “If you believe Cohen I can get you a great deal on the Brooklyn Bridge.”

Stupid MoFo, it's said the allegations are backed by documentary evidence and testimony from multiple people within Trump's organization. Prosecutors aren't solely relying on Cohen to close this trap. Sheesh.

So Trump is in same position as Flynn: the Russians know all about the lies and have proof/receipts.

We have known this for a while due to our obsessive info bubble here, but maybe we can make the case a bit plainer to the info neutral.

Rudy can’t get me no deal on that bridge. I already got a GREAT deal from Ed Koch!

Yes. The absurdity of this “defense” vis-s-vis the biggest liar of all is remarkable. I guess it’s all Rudi has, but it is pathetic. I keep waiting for one of the talking heads on TV to point this out to him.

Rudy knows this story doesn’t just rely on Cohen. He’s just trying to center all the attention on the weakest point of the evidence and make us forget that there is a lot of corroboration. Sorry, Rudy, we’re not all as easily distracted as Trump’s base.

He definitely should be under investigation by someone. It could well be within Mueller’s purview, since this part of the story was directly related to the election with the intention of sinking Hillary. He told us that much himself as it was happening.

He needs to be stepped on like the cockroach he is.

:ok_hand:
Is ‘redhand’ a reference to the red right hand of vengeance? Just curious.

All things in moderation, including moderation.

No. The Red Hand of Ulster. It’s an oblique reference to my family name when you look up the phrase. The grumpy centurion avatar is not related to it. I lived in Rome for a couple of years as a teen and never got over my love of Roman history.

The fact that they employ this strategy to defend the guy for whom they’ve had to invent new categories of fact checking is just mind blowing.
