Discussion: Collins’ Line: I Believe Blasey Ford Was Assaulted, But Not By Kavanaugh

So the shit continues to drip.down both sides of her mouth. And women wonder why they have this problem.

i’m sad Collins’ (and Flake’s) narrative is about Kavanaugh’ alleged sex-crime and not about his partisan statements and behaviour in the hearing.
Collins and Flake have destroyed the legitimacy of the SCOTUS, helping Mitch McConnell.
The price the USA will pay over the next many years will be horrible…

So, If I walk up to collins and slap her in the face wearing a trump mask,
Will she testify that it was definitely trump that assaulted her?
She has been moved to BIMBO status in my book.

“And Deborah Ramirez,” she continued, “was probably slapped in the face by a summer squash.”

She is trying to rationalize her vote. Christine Blasey Ford knew her assailant. He was not a stranger. Victims assaulted by someone they know do not forget or mistake who it is. And yes it stays with them their entire life.

So, Suzy? You believe him over her because he has such a reputation for honesty? Ffffffffffffine. Just, ffffffine.

Now, enjoy your place in hell reading his yearbook for eternity.

Gop translation we don’t believe her

Yes, and she sounded pathetic trying to do it. You know who else sounded pathetic today? Kasich. He was asked how he could claim that the “saner” members of the GOP will prevail. After all, Trump’s and McConnell’s tactics have worked, and they’re celebrating their victories. Kasich stumbled badly, because he couldn’t give one single example of rational Republicans winning. The entire GOP is tied to Trump - please let that be their undoing.

It’s really too bad women who survived sexual assaults cannot walk up to this horrible (possible) human being and spit right in her face without being arrested by the Secret Service and thrown in jail for physically threatening a member of Congress. If it were possible for them to spit on her, she would be wetter than Donald Trump’s description of Hurricane Florence: “tremendously big and tremendously wet”.

Also, after watching - in segments from the Sunday talk shows posted by the networks on the Internet, since I don’t have cable or satellite anymore - Ms. Collins using her labyrinthine logic to excuse her inexcusable vote for Boofin’ Brett, and her laughable protestations against anyone who dares to accuse her poor, sorry, entitled ass of betraying women in any way whatsoever (even moderately, LOL!), I have come to the conclusion that Senator Susan Collins is most certainly the worst drag queen since Tyler Perry.

Keep digging that hole, Susan. Just keep digging.

Oh, and, uh, listen, Sugar Booger - you don’t really mind if I call you Sugar Booger, do you, Sue? I figure since you so blithely dismiss the trauma of the victims of sexual assault and insult the intelligence and the memory capabilities of a woman who is most certainly lightyears ahead of your obviously inferior intellect that you wouldn’t mind being called by a term that some might consider sexist, since you have shown yourself to be about as much of a champion of women as was Roger Ailes - get yourself a gay if you can. If you’re going to use a stylist for your TV appearances, hire one that doesn’t use makeup tips from Bozo the Clown or models your hairstyle after Moe Howard.

There’s only one way to deal with people like Collins:

Ya gotta grab 'em by their pusillanimous convictions!

“I am convinced that Dr. Ford believes what she told us and that she was a victim” of sexual assault, but “I could not conclude that Brett Kavanaugh was her assailant.”

OK, I’ll bite.
With your all-encompassing intellect (and voodoo cards), who do you conclude was her assailant?
Shouldn’t the FBI investigate this unknown assailant who is still out there assaulting women?
What about that part where Ford said she was 100% certain it was Kavanaugh? How do you explain that?
(we won’t even go there about Kav’s lack of unbiased temperment, which you ignored).

I see the anti-Collins fund is up to $3M+ . Should I throw another $20 in?

There is a hell waiting for lil’ Susie that’s for sure.

It was a multiple choice test:

A) “She’s lying–it didn’t happen”
B) “She’s mistaken about who did it”
C) “He did it but he’s still our guy for the job”

Collins picked B because it was her least bad choice. Note that Trump has now made the same choice.

Here we go again, with emphasis.

Some of the worst misogynists are women - and typically women afraid of losing status, power or money. Republican women have the power to help us change how we view rape victims in this country, but instead they reinforce the “blame the victim” narrative, perpetrated and perpetuated by the patriarchy.

I am convinced that Collins is living on her perceived “moderate” reputation… What a crock of shit, she is as moderate as any other GOP operative, the “moderate” narrative has been built over the years by the “both sides” liberal media. The only good news is that we will be done with her in 2 years… hopefully the people of Maine won’t elect her governor.
