He told Fox News’ Sean Hannity last week that he would seek to challenge every incumbent Republican senator’s reelection campaign —except Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX)
Bannon, Milo and others are highly paid stooges carrying the water for the Mercers.
If Senator Collins thinks this is “inappropriate”, she really needs to take it up with the billionaire family running the show from behind the curtain.
Sometimes I wonder how the Kochs must feel, having their thunder stolen by an even more radical billionaire, that in some ways support the antithesis of what the Kochs want (nationalism vs. globalism).
Collins must be seriously pissed to skip over “troubled” and “concerned” and go straight to the damning “completely inappropriate.”
“He’s not looking at how people vote on issues that matter to President Trump,” she said. “He’s looking at whether or not they support Mitch McConnell as majority leader. Mitch McConnell is key to President Trump’s ability to get tax reform through, for example. So I don’t understand Mr. Bannon’s approach. Obviously, he has the right to say or do whatever he wants.”
Whatever. I’ll celebrate when they actually vote that way at some point.
It’s like a breakout hit dysfunctional family sitcom where an eccentric rich relative leaves all the money to the stupidest, most obnoxious family member and they all have to try to pretend they like him and pretty soon the fur really begins to fly! Ha ha ha don’t miss the latest hilarious episode of “We’re All Fucked!”
My, is Miss Media Moderate showing outraged “concern” again? I’ve seen more political backbone in a carton of small-curd cottage cheese.
Hey, honey - you’ve been enabling the GOP forces that allowed people like Trump and Bannon and Miller and all of the rest to come to fruition for years. You don’t get to weasel out of your responsibility for it now by crying a few tears of phony righteous indignation. And the only reason you voted against the dumbass and cruel GOP/Trump healthcare bill is because your constituents would have burned you at the stake if you did vote for it. They would have been chasing you through that airport with pitchforks, torches, tar, feathers, and flaming paper bags of doggie-doo instead of praising you as they did when you said you would vote against it.
Fuck you, Susan Collins.
I believe this is exactly what we are doomed to receive as the inmates are allowed to run the asylum, (formerly known as the U.S. Government).
I think what Steve Bannon is trying to do is completely inappropriate…
To be perfectly honest, I have some mixed feelings…
… and I will leave them unstated because it’s completely inappropriate to print them.
Oh c’mon Mitch. Come to the pointed side, you’re halfway there . . .
Eh, 45 said the white nationalists were great people, too. Look how that turned out,
Republicans are turning against establishment (so-called) GOP. They still heartily endorse the Roy Moores and Michele Bachmanns. It’s only the John McCains and Susan Collinses they despise.
“I certainly don’t think that it is at all constructive.”
She must have missed his, on the record, statement that he just wants to burn the place down.
Or is this a tacit encouragement?
N depending on where these upsets occur, that’s a big problem (for them).
Pushes the party much further right – which is where their base is. So-called establishment GOP will be ejected. Reactionaries will take their places. You really think that’s only a problem for someone else?
Interesting. A favorite tactic of some (okay, many) on the right is to pit factions of the left against each other. Perhaps Dems need to investigate how to instigate a “clash of the titans” in which the Mercers battle the Kochs, and leave each party damaged.
