Discussion for article #243892
Hopefully, they’ll also refer him for mental health services, though paranoid delusions are really hard to treat.
He must teach creative writing…
It is shameful to try to make a buck off the suffering of others in this disrespectful fashion. This guy is clearly unbalanced and no institute of higher learning should be affiliated with him.
To claim “academic freedom” is a sham and a smokescreen. I wouldn’t even call it a mental health issue, since it is clear that this stain on humanity knows exactly the kind of reaction he is trying to solicit.
These parents have suffered enough.
I hope he isn’t sitting on an arsenal, adding names to an enemies list. It sounds like he might be
Of course…the reason this POS was doing it was because he was upset at the calls for gun control.
The college should have dumped him long before the harrassment allegations surfaced. The fact that he’s delusional and intellectually dishonest should have been enough to reveal that he is unfit to be any sort of instructor.
Blabbage defending his First Amendment rights in three, two, one…
“College professor fired for daring to state conservative viewpoint.”
That will be the Breitbart headline.
The odd part of all if this is the unanswered question: Why does he believe as he does?
Is he purely anti-government?
Is he simply shilling for the NRA and gun manufacturers?
Why?
There is no evidence to prove any of his ideas, and the “lack of EMT’s” of the “lack of triage tarps outside” only prove that he has no idea how that job is done. Having been a paramedic and worked in several mass-casualty drills, I can attest that his ideas bear no resemblance to how things are done, especially when the scene is also a crime scene.
So…what is his motivation? I’m just intrigued by that far more than his apparent lunacy.
LIBtarD PC rUN Amok oN college caMPUSES!111!!one!11!!!
No, Breibart will go full Tin-Foil-Hat: “College Professor fired for defending the 2nd Amendment”.
Can’t give the mouth-breathers too much to think about in a headline over there. Gotta keep it simple (like them.)
He simply could be insane. Clinically psychologically impaired. Spiders on the walls, monsters under the bed, the Feds have implanted RFID chips in my brain level lunacy.
He should have been committed, not fired.
Reminds me of that professor at Berkeley School of Medicine who continues to insist that AIDS isn’t caused by the AIDS virus. Last time I checked, he still had a job.
Liberty University will welcome him with open arms.
Actually, it shouldn’t be much of a shock to anyone that FAU has been so slow to move on Tracy. This is the same school that sold naming rights to its football stadium to a for-profit prison corporation.
I had a nephew that applied to Liberty. He was turned down for failing his marksmanship test on the firing range.
I don’t understand his motivation. Does he fear people will use Sandy Hook as a reason to implement stricter gun laws,or is he just completely crazy.
