Having been an academic my language tends to be…well… dry.
You have a better way of expression than I do.

Former Senator Danforth ripped donnie several new ones. See the article I posted.

Here’s a hint. Start at the top.

The GOP base IS a hate group. Asking this administration to ā€œdo betterā€ is like asking Trump to behave as a normal human being. Not gonna happen.

"Cohn said that he faced pressure both to resign and to remain in his post, but said that he ultimately decided he needed to stay on in the Trump administration."

At least until those tax cuts are in. And Wall Street would tar and feather Cohn if he left.

Yes, I read it and I replied to the article. I have a very special loathing for John Danforth.

I have to disagree, ex-Senator and Clarence Thomas defender John Danforth (the charming and righteous Mr. Danforth, a supposedly devoutly religious man, led the charge to smear Anita Hill): Donald Trump is EXACTLY what the Republican Party is. And the only reason your hypocritical ass is upset right now is because Donald Trump says out loud EXACTLY what the Republican Party really thinks.
Respectfully, ex-Senator Danforth, you can blow your worthless opinion out of your lying ass.

Money trumps all else, this is BS posturing to keep up the pretense that they have souls…

Lenin was right about Capitalists … ā€œWe will hang the capitalists with the rope that they sell usā€ … and at a volume discount too!!

Not entirely OT: *Yellen’s speech comes just hours after the Financial Times published an interview with Gary Cohn, Trump’s top economic adviser, in which he openly criticized the way Trump handled violence carried out by neo Nazis and white supremacists in Charlottesville.

Cohn was also considered a front-runner for the Fed chairman post, and the separate decisions by Cohn and Yellen to distance themselves from Trump could mean that neither is interested in cozying up to him as a way to try to get the nomination.

I’m glad you framed the issue in these terms. Many people don’t have the luxury (well, even the possibility) of quitting a job because they have a family to provide for. I NEVER criticize them for staying in a job that requires them to compromise their pride or judgement. None of these cabinet officials and/or generals are in this position. They need to show some spine or sense of honor or basic self-respect and RESIGN publicly en masse. That would have a real impact on shutting down this administration. I cannot accept any of the ā€œfor the larger good of the countryā€ justifications these cowards give for staying - power and $$$ motivate them.

On MSNBC earlier, the general consensus was that he’s already gone and will be officially out the door one he figures out tax cuts can’t pass. Someone also said that some of these Wall St types in the administration are starting to get push back in their personal lives, and more than anything else, being kicked out the in-crowd in the Hamptons is will drive them away from PP. They care about their reputations more than their country.

It’s not the Nazis chanting in the street you gotta worry about, Gary. It’s the Nazi-in-Chief, the one you call a friend, the one who appointed you, and the one who made the exact equation you say we should never make.

Gary, you work for the moral equivalent of Hitler. Quit now.

Ask the Leopord to change his spots. Will get the same results.

Folks, read this:

It will give some perspective on the effect of tax cuts which are counter intuitive. Under Bill Clinton the debt and deficit were basically drastically reduced by a combination of tax increases and a stronger than anticipated economy. Take note also of the graph. It’s Clinton bracketed by GHW Bush and Bush the Younger.

Maybe a town hall on tax reform could do it. I imagine a bunch of neo-nazis storming the event and accusing Cohn and Mnuchin of being part of the international – or is it ā€œcosmopolitanā€ nowadays – Jewish banker conspiracy.

The sad truth….

ā€œfulfill my duty to work for the American peopleā€, hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahaha, Gary, stop it, you’re killing me here…

What does he mean?: looking in the mirror, raising his hand with one finger(any finger) up, and twitching it back and forth?
