So… the truth. Orville Redenbacher, please just back the truck up to my back door and pour the kernels in!
Lordy, I hope there are tapes.
Good heavens. Could such things truly be? Next you’ll be telling us he weighs more than 243.
Uhmm ? Racism, Lies… not really something to go to prison for …
Obviously Cohen is planning for the Republic to Survive. Otherwise…
There are steps The Emperor can take against him for Disloyalty…
Racism, lies about wealth? So, nothing new.
Perhaps not, but it’s at least worth something to expose Trump for the fraud we know he is. The more, the better, since it weakens him. This isn’t some Democratic hit job - this is his own attorney, someone who’s known him for years, someone who genuinely knows where the bodies are buried.
If he can also testify to acts that are truly criminal, so much the better.
I guess Mueller will fill in the blanks after Cohen does the " get my self respect back" tap dance on various subjects.
hoping for something knew instead of what we already know.
trump thinks he owns his own cartel
trump is boss of all bosses
trump lies about everything.
trump lies about everything
trump lies about everything
I am really hoping for something knew.
Here we go - the ultimate reality show.
As I posted in an earlier thread (but that was an AP story, so it’s better to move it here) …
If Cohen does tell the truth, seems credible, and backs up his multiple testimonies with documents, tapes, and other evidence … then Trump’s new personal Viet Nam will be much worse than his original personal Viet Nam and it will happen while he’s actually in Viet Nam.
And bogus bone spurs will be of no help this time around. Enjoy the news coverage, con-man.
I hope Trump’s bankruptcy will be discussed. I doubt Trump has any personal wealth anymore, only a huge Ponzi scheme that can only be maintained with more Russian money laundered thru Deutsch Bank. That is why Trump is afraid to reveal his tax returns. They will demonstrate that he has nothing of his own anymore due to all of it being in debt. His first debt was in 1982 when he borrowed $1.5 billion from Rothschild Inc. to bail out of his NYC real estate bankruptcy. Since then, Rothschild has owned him and still does, along with Russia / Deutsch Bank, and Netan-Yahoo. Trump has no independent behavior anymore. It’s all debt repayment related.
From the headline, “Cohen Plans To Go Negative”
Cohen plans to tell the truth (this time around). The truth will certainly put Trump in a negative light, it always does (except that racism part to some of his supporters). But, Cohen is hardly “going negative” by answering questions truthfully and getting to the core of who Trump is. Trump just happens to be completely negative to all that can be positive about a person.
I hope he tells us something we don’t know. We already know he’s a racist and that he’s not even worth a plug nickel. Tell us something that’ll shut up those Republicans (being behind closed doors may prove somewhat anticlimactic). Wednesday will be the real show day.
Reading about this looming testimony I fail to find much comment from members of Congress about the specific motivations and aims of what they’re seeking. You get the sense it’s sort of an aimless, amorphous “Let’s get him before various committees and see how much he can hurt Trump” game plan. I realize they have a plan, but in the absence of clearly defining and justifying it to the public it lends credence to Trump’s claims of a hit job and smear vendetta. They’re just not selling it very well, from a marketing standpoint. You know Trump is going to market his rebuttal, so you have to market your argument for doing it in a superior fashion, or you lose.
One thing Trump and the Republicans are particularly good at is demonstrating the vast gulf between what is legal and what is moral and ethical.
I’m in the mood for a box of wine.
Cohen should have a really, really good security detail for a while.
Depending on what Cohen says and the documentation he provides, his testimony could well help justify a House vote on articles of impeachment. Then, as I understand it, the Senate is obligated to conduct impeachment hearings. All bets would then be off, because the Repubs in charge of the Senate would have to do a credible job of it (or would they?).
Republican base response:
