Discussion: Cohen Reveals May '17 Meeting With Trump To Discuss Congressional Testimony

LOL…witness tampering…getting their stories straight…instructing him to lie. These are all crimes and enough to charge on I would think. Let a jury sort 'em out.

I feel like we’ve arrived at a point where we’re no longer arguing about whether someone’s pregnant but rather HOW pregnant they are. There are no degrees of pregnant. It doesn’t fall on a spectrum.

Definition of Mrs.Miller:
If you imagine someone tripping over themselves, you see someone moving hurriedly and therefore getting uncoordinated. To trip over oneself or to fall over oneself means to do something quickly and very eagerly.

It would be a real shame if Mr Sekulow lost his law license for suborning perjury or witness tampering. Or if he became an accessory to anything.

Well, to paraphrase John Goodman’s character in The Big Lebowski, “this is what happens” when you have a hack GOP Operative like Sekulow, who really knows squat about criminal law, operating in concert with a guilty ignoramus like Donald Trump.

Did Steube steal one of Mikey’s suits?

Yeah, Sekulow is going to be investigated by his state Bar, and they do not look kindly on lawyers who change client statements so that they are telling a lie. Same goes for any other lawyers who went over this stuff (and it’s really interesting that the lawyer for Ivanka and Jared did so). Cohen made the statements, so he’s responsible, but if someone put the words in his mount, or pressured him to lie, then they are culpable to felony charges. This one thing just might ensnare multiple people, based on how Cohen described the process.

Not even the lawyers are going to emerge out of this ETTD administration ……

and that’s saying something —

John Dean, John Ehrlichman, Spiro Agnew, Charles Colson, Herbert Kalmbach, Richard Kleindienst, Egil Krogh, G. Gordon Liddy, Robert Mardian, John Mitchell, Richard Nixon, Harry Sears, Donald Segretti, and G. Bradford Cook all got disbarred or had their licenses suspended. This is what happens, indeed.

ETA: And I wonder if someone in NYS is looking at Rudy.

Only if there is undeniable proof that this meeting occurred and that is what was really discussed. If all we have is Micheal Cohen’s testimony, it won’t go very far. If he recorded any of that conversation though…

Mr. Mueller could probably throw Mr. Sekulow a life preserver.

I think the follow-up questioning needs to be something along the lines of:

“With any of the testimony you prepared which Mr Sekulow or others asked you to change, or told you to change, were there any suggested changed statements you knew to be false? If there were, did you tell the person who suggested those changes that they were false statements? If so, what was their response?”

More Collusion. There isn’t anything Trump doesn’t know about or any crimes that aren’t being directed directly from his office.

From you fingerttips…

For way more than this.
