Other than all of the contact reported and unreported, Cohen denies being in contact with the Russians or having any involvement.

That makes denial worth absolutely zero.

I’m thinking the news will come out that Cohen was actually in Russia, which he keeps denying, and that he wasn’t there for the borscht.

Parsing words appears to be a Trump administration specialty (beyond lying through one’s teeth, of course). When a member of Trump’s team speaks under threat of perjury about a specific place they haven’t visited or a specific person they haven’t talked with, that leaves an entire universe of places and intermediaries for that communication to have happened.
