Discussion: Cohen Gives More Detail On Trump Moscow Tower Briefings

"biggest building in Europe"

Moscow is located in…anyone?..anyone?

Russia.

Which, in turn, is located in…anyone?..anyone?

Asia.

I think Russia west of the Urals is considered to be part of Europe.

Moscow is on European side of Ural (west of Ural). So Europe.

Cohen has spilled a lot of stuff, hopefully much of which has gotten under Trump’s skin. But he could probably inflame him more with some trivial bon mot than any alleged criminal misdeeds. I’d like for him to slip in a dig about Trump having small hands, or a wink-wink nudge-nudge about inadequate manhood issues. Trump would stroke out.

Plus it’s kind of white folks with round eyes so…

Tomorrow’s going to be a very very very bad day for the WH staff.

If there has been an answer to this question published, I missed it: what value did Trumpp provide to the Moscow tower project?

He stood to earn hundreds of millions from it, but he wasn’t putting up the money, wasn’t designing the building, wasn’t constructing it, and wasn’t needed to coerce local authorities into favorable action.

Is his brand worth that much in Russia? Was it a bribe? Discussion and plans for the project began years before anyone could envision that he had a chance to become president. Did the Russians believe that Trumpp’s involvement would make it easier to get financing from Deutsche Bank or other non-Russian banks? Was it somehow going to enable a larger conduit for money laundering in the US?

These are people that wear tracks suits 24/7/365 and swill vodka by the quart. Not exactly discerning judges of classy digs.

And they will have your grandmother thrown out of a building for a $50 debt. So, taste aside, why give Trumpp hundreds of millions when they could hire one of the world’s top fashion houses to provide some actual design work plus branding for $20 million?
