Discussion: Cochran Campaign: McDaniel Camp 'Full Of Criminals' Doesn't Respect 'Rule Of Law'

Discussion for article #223571

No worries McDaniel. If you can just make it over the finish line and get elected to the Senate, it will all become legal.

What did McDaniel know and when did he know it . . .

When I was a 10 year old kid, I used to watch wrestling on KTLA from the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. And they’d have “grudge matches”, occasionally between two wrestling “villains” like Freddie Blassie vs. Mr. Moto. Being a kid, and taking it every bit as seriously* as an L.A. Dodger game, I was conflicted. It was really hard to decide which one to embrace, but more often than not the one that cheated the most while the referee wasn’t looking would win. Funny I should think of that.

* Of course, I thought it was all real. Eventually, my father pointed out me that it was all fake. I was devastated

If we can just get McDaniel thru the runoff… Then maybe Childers will have a chance. But it’s MS…even if he’s a a convicted felon probably won’t get them to elect a D.

It’s a good campaign tactic and surprisingly, not a lie.

Iowa Hog GOP Castration squealing and two years beyond

Damn this is shaping up to be a bigger disaster for GOP
in the senate than 2012.

They were supposed to have all their ducks in a row.

Cotton in Arkansas - down in flames
McConnell at great risk of losing
Georgia at risk because of TeaParty
Michigan seat questionable
Brown floundering in NH
Now Mississippi at least having money thrown at it by the GOP

And then in 2016
23 Republican seats being defended - 15 in Purple states
to only 10 Dem seats - 7 which are safe blue states

Wake up GOP -
it’s over

Hillary/Warren
Hillary/Castro
will have Presidency/filibuster proof Senate/and Majority House

I hope everyone realizes this is what all the GOP hand wringing is about - it’s projected to the pain 2years 6months from now.
It’s not about this Nov. 2014 - it’s about Nov. 2016

Proceed Governor -
all over but the Iowa Hog GOP Castration squealing till 2016

“Cochran’s campaign is full of criminals and lacks respect for the rule of law! Even by Mississippi, standard, I mean,” he added.

Their campaign is “full of criminals,” is “out of control,” and does not “have any respect of the rule of law.”

It’s a feature, not a bug.

Cotton is in Arkansas.

There does seems to be criminality connected with this guy. One question I have ask myself: Why did they wait 2-1/2 hours to call someone to get them out of the courthouse? This think really stinks, however, it’s amazing some of the odious things he have said about blacks, Latinos, gays, and NOT paying taxes.

This is the “New” Rethuglican Tea Party!

The Cochran campaign specializes in stating the obvious.

Personally, the “they are criminals…” argument is not the strongest one he can make… It is too easily defeated if the other side just says “those criminals are not really on our team.” Calling someone a criminal is almost too precise an attack… it is much harder to make it stick by association.

Rather, he should point out that McDaniel seems to only associate with incompetent fools. Then ask… if this is how he is running his campaign, what can we expect from him if he has to actually govern?

yes, McDaniel Campaign Is ‘Full Of Criminals’

… and it appears that what McDaniel is selling …
- Mississippi is buying

One more wrinkle: there is an email by Sal Russo ( Tea Party Express) that links this c4 group to McDaniel: Just got off the phone with McDaniels. (h/t national journal)

Yeah, I agree - these guys can’t seem to get their act together without breaking a law

Annnnddd - THAT’S the reason you are now a former Senator. Enjoy retirement.

To quote Gomer Pyle, “Surprise, surprise, surprise.”

This seems really weird, but I wonder whether it will have any effect on people who vote wrong as a matter of principle. I think there’s time for more shenanigans though. The McDaniel campaign may do something really freaky to try to get out of this story cycle.

Pols need to stick to the obvious, especially in Mississippi.

But hey- at least we finally found some vote fraud, right?
