Sorry but I will never accept him as legitimately being the President. He may hold that office, and may have “legitimately” won the Electoral vote, but he was not, and is not, legitimately the President elected by the American people.
Never.
If only CNN’s and the NYT’s testicles had fully descended last summer…
Agree with everything you said. But this Tapper guy…growing on me.
‘Stop whining!’
well done.
Forget Trump’s sneakiness for a moment: what the hell did he mean about ‘how’ Jeff Zucker got his job?
OMFG that photo…the derision painted on their faces is palpable.
Seriously though. I dunno what it’s like for women watching something like this, but there’s a special kind of almost-instinctual disgust a man feels watching another man become unmanned in this manner hahaha
Say that three letter l word Jake, it will set you free.
I like the way he put the important thing in the form of (rhetorical) questions… because just too many people do not or cannot relate to something structurally distant and so do not think of this thing as something directly about themselves and their lives. It may seem to be happening distant from where they are, but no, it’s happening just everywhere around them. Tapper may have had such people think.
“Everybody at home needs to ask themselves, how would you react if that were your boss coming in and giving a speech to the employees where you work?”
“How would you react if that was somebody in your family that you were trying to have a conversation with? You would think, ‘This is very difficult to assess in a positive way. The person is not dealing with with world in which we live.’”

‘Trump is obsessed with his legitimacy’ is another way of stating that he is leaking from every pore his unstated knowledge that his victory was illegitimate.
We’ll need to see the results of an independent investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia before we can conclude that he “legitimately” won the presidency.
Trump has been in office almost a month and I have vowed, and so far succeeded, in refraining from using the title “President” and the name “Trump” together. I just refuse to do it and the sight of that man in the White House, i.e. the peoples’ house, pains me more than I can express.
Sorry Jake, there is only one thing the Mango Mussolini does and does well WHINE.
He knows he didn’t win anything at all. He was put there by Putin.
Jake doesn’t get it: Trump isn’t just whining, he’s warming up and trying out new material for his rally on Saturday.
“But it’s not just about electoral votes. It’s about the fact that he’s still fixated on whether or not he legitimately won the presidency,” Tapper said, “President Trump if you’re watching, you’re the president. You legitimately won the presidency …"
No, he didn’t. And Trump knows he didn’t win the presidency legitimately. That’s why he’s so insecure about it. And he’s afraid of what’s going to come out in new leaks and investigations.
“The person is not dealing with with world in which we live.”
Has Trump asked Henry Kissinger to get down on his knees and pray with him yet?
I could only make it as far as the point where he said he had accomplished more in his short time than any other POTUS before turning him off. I was driving on some very winding roads in the Dundee Hills and was afraid of losing control bigly.
I do not accept him as POTUS either and I wish he could just be pushed back behind the curtains so we could have clearer vision into what kind of crap Congress is doing these days. The continual chaotic drama is providing them with too much cover.
“I am the least [__________] person you’ve ever seen.”
How long is the list of words that belong there before you get to “anti-Semitic?”
I think he’s whining about it because he knows he did not “legitimately” win.
More like Pence asking Rump to get on his knees to pray.
And afterward, having the guards escort him out of the WH onto a helicopter never to be seen again.
