Ana Navarro was rightfully livid and incredibly angry but I was surprised with how coherent, factual and logical she stayed despite the anger she felt.
I think Ms. Navarro made the key points about the Preshitident Sphinctermouth’s lack of character, basic human decency and deranged actions. They were excellent. The only thing she could have added was a case for the 25th Amendment process based on Preshitident Sphinctermouth being unfit for the office.
He can do great harm to this nation. The Congress would bend over backwards to accommodate his ‘Christian’ BS. LOOK at Indiana. I don’t care if he’s ‘popular’. I care that he’s a MAJOR HYPOCRITE.
You go, Girl! Well put. The Asshole-elect is an ignorant bully, who is neither qualified to be president intellectually or emotionally. Unfortunately, our system allows for anyone who can drag his (or her) knuckles into the voting booth, this is what we run the danger of getting. Sad.
Trump is the book’s “American Psycho” main character. His obsession with money, style, women and blood characterizes this main character to the tee. It is also ironic that this main character is also extremely obsessed with anything Trump. We should be extremely concerned about this mentally ill “president”! This book is a hard read in horror but truly insightful into the type of person this country has as a so called “president”.
It’s funny, but historically, there is nothing quite like a Right Winger turned Centrist-Liberal by the disgusting Rat Fuckery of the American Right. I could cite several Supreme Court Justices (Eisenhower’s “two biggest mistakes” William Brennan and Earl Warren, and former Klansman Hugo Black come immediately to mind, not to mention David Souter) who have made this evolution while serving on the Court. In terms of other GOP operatives and spokespeople, I have come to feel fondly towards Rick Miller, Steve Schmidt, Charlie Sykes, Ana Navarro, and, my current favorite person in the entire world, Richard Painter. Also, in the Media, when Ted Turner and TBS became a national network in the early 70’s, Turner was an unrepentant Redneck wannabe. He eventually became quite enlightened and his network, briefly, was the closest thing the USA has ever had to an international news network.
It is a combo. Congress admits in WAPO they do not fear him, trust him or respect him. Trumpcare polls are in the toilet and finally, something big and bad is coming soon and he knows it.
Yes he can do great harm. But he’s currently in a position to do great harm. WIthout the swirling soap-opera of chaos stirred up by the current occupant, The meanness of the republican policy becomes more obvious
he will be a bad president, I’m not arguing that. I just don’t see any reason that he will be worse than mango musilini.
WHERE I think he would be worse is because Congress would become even greater lapdogs than they are now…including the Democrats. Look at Reagan. After all the crap with Nixon people were hesitant to nail Reagan for ‘unpresidential’ actions…ergo Iran-Contra. Mollycoddling went on way too long and later we found out he was suffering from Alzheimers…
