Discussion: CNN: 'We Passed' On Having Kellyanne Conway On Sunday Show

Yes it is. Evil woman.

The ‘Fool me once’ doctrine at work.

Everyone is now on notice that Conway has been discredited multiple times in media appearance peddling blatant lies.

The responsibility for those lies is now on the media outlets. If you place a notorious prevaricator on the air, you share responsibility for spreading the lies and are as culpable as the liar.

Going forward I will judge accordingly every media outlet that hosts Conway.

So, does this mean that Katrina Pierson is coming back?

This was the first thing I read this a.m. If the woman had half a brain she’d be dangerous. And the ever so polite NYT also said this proving the administration hasn’t pivoted away from campaigning to try and win hearts and minds.

But even before the Bowling Green story fell apart so spectacularly, there were signs that what had worked well during the presidential campaign last year might not succeed when it comes to the real-world work of government.

@mattinpa For a news organization to say that about a spokesperson is absolutely devastating.

Politeness and discretion matter to MSM press outlets, but it does amount to cutting the head off the serpent.

It’s an expression. When the spokespeople say there are “serious questions” about someone’s credibility it’s the same as saying “She always fucking lies. She’s a fucking liar who never, ever doesn’t lie.” It’s not a hedge, it’s not being mealymouthed. For a news organization to say that about a spokesperson is absolutely devastating.

Are you kidding? She’ll be the Chief of Staff before 2018.

It’s about time the MSM started to wake up to the fact that they have been PLAYED since the beginning by Trump and his minions.
It is now time to turn to actual JOURNALISM for once as only THE TRUTH can defeat Hair Trump.

“False,” Conway tweeted, linking to a Mediaite story citing reporting by the New York Times. “I could do no live Sunday shows this week BC of family. Plus, I was invited onto CNN today & tomorrow.”

Yet another lie.

A couple points: Obviously they’re undercutting her entire professional world. They’re officially telling their viewers she’s such an outrageous, obvious liar that there’s no point in talking to her. The other point is they’re now making a distinction between spin, the absurdly favorable-to-oneself interpretation of facts, and flat-out lying. They won’t accept the lying any more, or at least that’s how it seems for now. Big, big deal.

Same here. I’d prefer to never see or hear her again given that everything out of her mouth hole is a lie or obfuscation.

This would be fun, but just one time, I’d rather see a ban on those, of any stripe, whose role is to lie to the American public. Relegate them to alternative fake news sites. and let folks know that’s where they can be heard.

Is that Sean Spicer or Bill O’Reilly?

It ain’t harassment. It’s a public service.

I saw the idea of banning Conway bandied about among liberal outlets, but didn’t realize this was being taken at all seriously by the MSM. Maybe it was mildly under consideration until her “Bowling Green Massacre” lie. That may have finally tipped the scale.

I watched Harball on Friday (I think it was Friday) because I was curious to see how Matthews would respond to being made to look a fool by someone who is supposed to be his friend. He mentioned it briefly through gritted teeth and not another word was spoken of it. I think the Bowling Green Massacre lie was just too big to swallow. She wasn’t mistaken, she didn’t somehow get her words mixed up. She lied. She just made it up and used the made up story to demonize the press, and she made a friend look stupid in the process. There’s something particularly heinous about that.

No one in the so called administration is smart enough to realize this. trump’s lied so shamelessly for so long they thought it could translate to governing.

The way Conway lies, you’re going to need more than a 7-second delay, methinks.
