Donald Trump Jr. is the Fredo Corleone of the Trump crime syndicate.
Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing, because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon… you know, cause I’ve worked in a lot of offices, and I tell you, people do that all the time.

Receiving stolen goods and Receiving donations from foreign sources seems pretty slam dunk here.
These people are too dumb for subtlety of any kind.
It’s Another Pleasant Valley Friday in Trumplandia!
So far today we have learned that Papadopoulos was likely in touch with Bannon and Flynn and Dumber Donny is like a peeling an onion. With every layer the stink just gets worse. And this is supposed to be the smart one.
I can see them in rewrite at SNL right now.
And it’s not even noon.
He’s gonna claim computer-and-user privilege.
I think it’s entirely plausible that the Trump campaign would have put to one side its desperation to get hold of the stolen emails on the occasion of their receipt.
(Irony alert.)
Suddenly, I’m believing Beavis is actually the smart one of the two, and that ain’t sayin’ much…

Who gave the Russians the campaign/personal email addresses for these people including Trump? I’d be very, very concerned if I received ‘unsolicited’ emails from a stranger.
This looks awfully close to accepting illegal in-kind campaign contributions from foreign entities. Very close to the end.
Is that a typo or did I miss something?
I am sure that Butthead Anusmouth Jr. reported this to the FBI immediately.
As I’ve written in another diary, this email is providing some clearer evidence that the Trump team welcomed, received and used stolen material. Some of the conventional wisdom has been that it would be hard to establish that the activity of Team Trump was illegal. That doesn’t appear to be the case.
These guys are tripping up on things like false statements. They’re now tripping up on the computer fraud and abuse act, which is a well developed area of law with lots of cases. When you have lots of cases, it’s hard for judges to intervene and show bias because good lawyers will analogize the facts of their case to those where there were successful prosecutions. It’s also hard to politically spin such crimes. That makes it easier to get to a jury trial and to prove guilt.
The Federal election campaign law violations also have a lot of prior history and case law. Once enough facts are fully established, Mueller should have no trouble charging a lot of folks.
Lets us not forget: The only acceptable thing to have done is turn it all over to the FBI. If they did not do that, they are open to all sorts of other things, which is why, even if you are not ethical by nature, if you had even the barest minimum of smarts that is what you would do.
Anyone who will believe these clowns are capable of using an encryption key correctly will believe anything.
Im guessing the yearly compliance training for Trump, Inc. isn’t as thorough as where i work.
I think closer to the truth is that none of them — None. Of. Them. — has ever been held accountable for anything they’ve ever done in their entire lives, thus their unmitigated hubris. Moreover, they actually believe they’re still playing by their own rules. Now that’s stupid.
Being dosed with reality is such a rude awakening. Being jailed will be even ruder.
I can’t wait till they all find the need to seek advice from Charles Kushner. The only thing that would make it better would be if he charges them for attending Chuck K’s Prison Survival Skoo’.
I think that it is officially referred to as “client-server” privilege.
