Preparation? Does it involve sewing his mouth shut?
The unanimous opinion expressed by several attorneys on MSNBC has been that PPās lawyers have no choice. Their best hope is to try to mitigate the damage by negotiating the terms. I also think PP wants to do this interview because he wants to woo/dominate Mueller. His ego will not allow him to comprehend how horribly unequipped he is to go toe to toe with Mueller.
Not quite the same, but itās how I imagine what it would be like coaching the dotard.
Just like the time Roger Ailes tried to prepare Donald Trump for the Presidential Debates, Trump will quickly sideline the murder board with tangents on his electoral college win, the 8-10 million illegal votes in California, and his beef with Rosie OāDonnell.
@fatehiasaleh I see we think alike!
Liked, but bittersweet.
The prospect of Trump being questioned by someone eho wonāt let hin dodge the tough questions or pass off word salad as answers is immensely satisfying.
He bought that box W wore under his suit when he debated.
There is no way the stable genius will remember what he lied about and when. Muellerās guys will tie him into knots.
Well, these are about the only behaviors that DT can carry out, so it would be reasonable for him to practice them. They may not be terribly effective with Robert Mueller, but hey . . . .
hahahahaha That made quite the mental image - Fat Nixon, like an orange Peter Lorre, stalking Bob Mueller around a stage
True, and itās because itās just so damn easy to play him like a fiddle. Sure, Mueller could just slap him around with a subpoena, and Iām sure he will if it comes to that, but why get Dotard on the defensive? Itās best to let him think he can talk his way out of it, that heās been politely asked and his special accommodations met. Mueller wants PP to roll in overconfident and thinking he can beat/woo him. Thatās exactly the strategy leaders of other countries employ with PP. They butter him up, make him think heās special, and he gives away the store. Thereās no reason to think he wouldnāt react exactly the same way with Mueller. In fact, I could easily picture him getting super cocky in the interview thinking he must have it in the bag because Mueller is being so nice to him. Mueller then walks him straight into a number of traps, Dotard leaves thinking he won only to later find that things have gotten exponentially worse.
No matter whether itās de bate or de position, de net result will be de bacle, and eventually de end of de line for de fendant.
While Manafort is busy worrying about de fenestration.
I agree with you, but thereās another possibility to explain the way he speaks now. His switching ideas mid-sentence, gazing off to repeat a word, whispering, turning around to look at someone else while he emphasizes whatever inanity heās expressing, all those strike me as his idea of āshowmanshipā ā he truly does fancy himself a TV star and thinks heās honed a superior technique. Iād ask drama coaches for an opinion, rather than someone with experience assessing brain function.
He just looks to me like heās so proud of his delivery every time the crowd roars, thinking itās because he aced the monologue instead of understanding that his acolytes donāt care what he says, only that they got to attend the performance.
" Better be nice to me ⦠or else ! " ā¦

Trumpās only preparation will be āI donāt recallā or āI donāt understand the questionā. To be followed by storming out, back to the WH in a complete twitter rage stating, I answered all their questions and left when they kept asking me the same questions over and over. Waste of my time. Losers!
Kind of Lib-Porn but I sure like it.
After the interview, look for Trump to once again proclaim his innocence, portray himself as a poor, maligned victim of the fake news media, and dismiss the Mueller investigation as the biggest disgrace in the history of the nation.
Should Mueller pursue perjury charges (in addition to obstruction, collusion, conspiracy, bank fraud, and so forth) ⦠Donnie will likely dismiss all of it by ācleverlyā tweeting an insulting nickname for the special counsel.
Itās a little slow today ā¦

Well, if the asshole was not a pathological liar and a crook, there would not be a problem. But he is, so there you have it.
Maybe Ma Hamhock could give him tips on how to sneer at the interviewers.
