As we now know, Mueller subpoenaed one of Trump’s close associates involved in international business deals and is now going hard after Cohen. This is about so much more than simple obstruction, and I doubt Trump’s lawyers even know how to prepare him properly because even they haven’t seen his tax returns. And he won’t be truthful with them regarding his shady financial activities. So what’s he going to do? Plead the 5th?

This is a false statement by the official. There is no “preparing Trump” for anything. Is his team working on how to address this? Yeah, I believe that. Are they TRYING to prepare him. Possibly. But we all know Trump isn’t getting prepared for anything. His brain does not work that way. If an interview happens, he will not be prepared and it won’t be because of his legal team, it’ll be all on him.
