Islamist state women are easy.

well, since isis is using social media for recruitment purposes, surely cnn journalist carol costello had screen grabs of these solicitations…

Facebook should know who these people are. They keep closer tabs on people than the NSA does.

This is some strange tangent for CNN to go off on. Almost as bad as black holes sucking up missing airplanes. Wouldn’t be surprised if this report had something to do with product placement instead. By the way, Nutella is super popular in Israel and in a lot of places in the Middle-East. If that’s what they were going after…that’s all they needed to say.

A couple of days ago CNN Money reported this. Coincidence? Valentine’s Day? Hmmmm.

ISIS Recruiter: “You graduated top of your class. You could have had your pick of employment, including right here. Instead, you went to Anbar to… fire at people for a living?”
Female Recruit: “I… followed a boy.”

Somewhere, in CNN’s news production team, there is a person who has the job of filtering out the stories that are too trivial for national news broadcasts or too absurd to put on the air without a lot of solid corroborating evidence, and who thinks they are doing a good job.

I shudder.

This is so strange . . . and insulting. Ladies are joining ISIS because they can’t get enough kittens and Nutella at home? Really CNN? It’s one thing for their anchors to start riffing crazy stuff, but this is a segment that multiple people apparently thought made enough sense to spend time assembling this tempting Nutella/kittens/emoji graphic, and finding a guest to interview, and writing a script. My brain hurts.

Does sound like bullshit, doesn’t it? But can you think of any better reasons to join than free kittens and halal nut spread?

I’m still searching the article for where it states that this is a piece by The Onion.

Its Certified Kosher too. Just saying.

I have t-shirts on which our two yellow Labs sweetie pie faces are emblazoned. My wife calls them my “chick-magnet” shirts because women never fail to talk to me about my guys Boomer and Mojo where ever we go.

Maybe ISIS should consider putting Lab faces on their chest garb to balance out otherwise scary unis with a less threatening look to attract the women… Or just lure them with Lab puppies.

I agree. It is offensive, but not by CNN or its anchor-journalists. I think it is more a statement of how your basic ISIS misogynistic terrorist views western women. CNN is merely the messenger.

I wouldn’t be too sure about that. I suspect that position was eliminated about 15 years ago.
