Discussion: CNN: Mueller's Team Met With Author Of Trump Dossier

It’s almost Friday, ain’t it? It’s time for another tweet-storm, and perhaps some personnel “adjustments” at the White House.

ANYTHING to cause a distraction.

Donnie knows full-well what Steele knows - and he’ll give anything to keep us from knowing it, too.

Once and for all: Never mind the har-har salacious bits. John Schindler says the spooks have the goods on the guy with the Russkies. And that’s what I want Mueller to be able to verify. Salacious-schmalacious—I want slam-dunk evidence the bastard sold out his country for a big bag of money and a nice dollop of election tampering on top. Lock him up CLANG and forget him forever.

If there was any question, the above confirms that Burr is desperately trying to torpedo Mueller’s investigation.

Further, that he is failing at it.

Finally, that #MuellerHasItAll

Is this leaking now because of Senator Burr’s personal appeal to Steele yesterday? Basically saying, don’t worry about it…Mueller’s on it?

Excuse me while I let the serotonin wash over my brain for the next two hours.

Agreed. It’s all about the Trump campaign emails and text messages. When I read that Mueller has seen those, then I’ll start getting excited.

What about if he gets his hands on the pee tapes?

Embarrassing but inconclusive. Much more important in Steele dossier is Rosneft allegation.

Sources close to Trump revealed to TPM that he supports public release of the infamous “pee pee” tape mentioned in the Steele Dossier. These sources told TPM Trump wants to show, once and for all, that he can handle two hookers at once, and disprove allegations he is a dotard wlth small “hands”.

John Schindler wrote a column months ago saying much of the evidence they have on Trump is from foreign intelligence, classified & would not be admissible in a court of law.

Lordy, I hope that’s not true.

It would, however, provide a road map.

i read that piece and as I remember it he said it was why we would never know everything, but I don’t recall his saying we weren’t going to know enough.

Morongate thread up. What a time for the little hamster powering the comments function to keel over.

But he’s also said or at least implied that the domestic IC has the goods on him. The challenge is to translate all of the stuff they work with into the kind of evidence our courts accept. But like ASDT says, it’s a road map. It’s part of what prosecutors do and Mueller’s team is uniformly the best in the biz. As long as they know what direction to dig in they’ll be a lot more likely to get there. And naturally the author of the dossier can help with alternate routes so they can get the court-worthy stuff. And the caution about revealing how they got the info might not be as urgent these days, because if they don’t take Trump down soon there’s not going to be much of a country left. Long story short, the more the good guys cooperate the worse it is for Team Trump.

I’d love to hear what Mueler believes about trump’s guilt or innocence…

We’ll never convince most of them and who cares?

We’re never going to have 100% of the country on our side.
