RM likely has it already. If it also isn’t turned over by Trump, more trouble.

Circle the Wagons: Like many idiomatic expressions with long histories, “circle the wagons” has taken on new meanings as time has passed. It can also indicate an individual or group of people such as a family who intend to stop communicating with outside society as they deal with their own personal crisis. Other groups have taken on the phrase as well, such as a business which can be said to “circle the wagons” when it is losing its competitive edge and needs to reevaluate its products and advertising strategy. All of these uses share the common theme of providing for defense from circumstances that can seem overwhelming.

My guess is this administration has been burning documents at a record rate and not just official gov’t documents, I suspect a few large trucks from Trump businesses have showed up to the furnace as well. But hey, if destroying those docs gets Trump out, that works for me.

“Now, don’t push your luck, Mueller !”

Mueller also wants to know how the White House formulated its response to revelations about the meeting’s existence, which came to light earlier this month.

Fancy-ass way of saying who ordered the cover-up.

And then it turns into a circular firing squad.

I thought that was the unmistakable sound of paper shredders I heard coming from the White House, with Trump’s voice bellowing obscenities in the background.

This would include Trump’s discussions with Putin, right? He did say the subject came up.

Surprised these small-timers haven’t had a workshop with Dick Cheney, master of the evidence-free power play.

After all, as Dick taught us, one only needs one copy of a memo - the one the preznit signs to make it operational - one carries that memo in and out so no one but the preznit sees it, one never leaves copies online, and if one printed copy proves to be too many, one can always have a mysterious fire in one’s office safe.

That Mueller is looking to the decisions made last week about how to deal with the meeting confirms my suspicion that there was illegal witness tampering going on.

All I can say is, keep digging, Bob.
