OK this could be it. That’s all you can say. The watershed moment, the tipping point may be here.

Yep. It’s like they say – where there’s fire, there’s fire.

In it, Avenatti alleged that an account controlled by Cohen had received $500,000 in payments from Vekselberg (via Vekselberg himself, Vekselberg’s American cousin, Andrew Intrater…

Vekselberg’s American cousin’s surname is misspelled. It should read “Intraitor.”

Says AT&T:

“Essential Consulting was one of several firms we engaged in early 2017 to provide insights into understanding the new administration. They did no legal or lobbying work for us, and the contract ended in December 2017”

Fascinating “insights,” I’m sure.

Does anyone know where Avenatti is getting his info? The man is a fire-breathing dragon.

Also, I hope this makes a great movie one day.

You know the kind…where the closing credits say stuff like, "The names have been changed to protect the ‘innocent.’ David Dennison resigned the Presidency on October 8 2018. Jarrod Crotchner is currently serving 25 years in Leavenworth…"

I’m sure the news of this coming had nothing to do with today’s self-serving international “diplomacy.”

Finally comments open. There’s a lot of pent up schadenfreude here. Not eating popcorn, but I’ve got my baby carrots and yogurt ranch dip.

This Essential Consulting company certainly reflects the essence of Chiselin’ Trump.

Chris, and I bet Rachel and Lawrence, have all tossed out their planned shows for tonight. But I think Lawrence said last night that he has Avenatti booked for tonight.

That’s a movie which I am dying to see!

But no one would believe the plot. Russian hacking, corrupt reality star elected president, fired FBI Director, special counsel, paid off porn star, mafia-wanna-be lawyer, sanctioned Russian oligarchs depositing hundreds of thousands into lawyer’s shell company… Throw in Rudy, Bannon, Jared and Ivanka, The Mooch, and the others in the clown car, and no studio would accept it.

From an earlier post:

Seriously, a Russian oligarch who is subject to sanctions at the Inauguration…

I am not saying the guy is in on the conspiracy. but the optics of this begs the question whether the Trumpistas have any fucking clue? I guess it only takes balls to become a successful crime family…

I stand completely corrected, the guy was in on the conspiracy…

\facepalm

I don’t see what the issue is here.
If it wasn’t a charitable contribution, Vekselburg was, doubtless, just repaying the slush fund for withdrawals used to his benefit.
Hell, he probably even structured his contributions like Donnie did, as a retainer for services not yet rendered. Like Ghouliani said, he probably even included a little extra as a tip for Michael Cohen.

You may well be correct, but it seems that every single week for the past year their has been a comparable watershed moment that would have torpedoed any administration that was not supported by a feckless Congress…
