Velshi and Ruhle did the same thing to 45 apologist Brad Thomas this morning. Think the press has finally had enough of the bullshit.

you cannot have a respectful conversation with a bigot.

Brava, Ms. Bolduan! It’s long past time that you and your colleagues stand up to this kind of bullying and lying by those you interview. As for Mr. Stewart’s statement–

Because establishment Republicans are afraid of being labeled by CNN as racists and bigots.

Perhaps “establishment Republicans” should stop defending “racists and bigots” in order to avoid being labeled as such. Just a thought.

And right she was for shutting him down. CNN needs to stop giving any platform to idiots like this, that hold the news in such disdain.

Hey, asshole, if you hate CNN and all other media…guess what? We aren’t going to give you any access. Good luck with your campaign while suffering an airwave black out.

Such a dirty lying parasite laying out his treasonous mind and cowardice for all to see. ALL of those NAZI protesters were fucking NAZIS you pathetic lying little douche canoe. You own them so stand behind them coward.

And the violent left? Thankfully you have never seen this and you had better be careful lest you do. If the left weapons up and decides that the government can never be trusted or they overtly take the side of those fucking Nazis you had better watch out.

Democrats should not say a peep about this. Let the GOP self-immolate.

The only thing Dems should do right now is keep reminding 45 that Obama’s tweet about Charlottesville is the most liked tweet in history. You just know that is really pissing off 45.

This is the same sort of clown that agrees with the neo Nazi’s and their ilk but does not want to admit it. Maybe somebody can help me but what left groups are they even talking about?

I agree, and it’s pretty obvious by inference that Democratic silence (for the most part) is deliberate.
This is a conversation between the Nazi Party and Republican voters. Democrats don’t need to butt in.

Respectfully…who are these people, groups? Never heard of 'em (and don’t want to be informed)…

I’ve noticed a lot of folks, including me, have given CNN a hard time for actually inviting these GOP clowns on their show, presumably just for the ratings. But they are actually doing the intelligent part of the country a service by exposing these treasonous, racists asshats to the media spotlight.

Carry on…

What they should also be doing is quietly going to all the governors and mayors they can and REMOVING those statues. Then let the Nazi pukes and their Republican sycophants marinate on that. Fuel the fire of their immolation.

Exactly. What he did is exactly why they go on CNN/MSNBC et.al. Red meat for their low information base.

You have this former gubernatorial candidate, current Republican senate candidate and prominent neo confederate Cory Stewart blaming “the left” for Saturday’s horror. As if they were Bernie bros wielding shields and firearms.
And “mainstream” Republican Ed Gillespie had trouble beating this Lost Causer in the gubernatorial primary? When he should have walked away with it says a lot about today’s Republican Party.

He claimed “not even establishment Republicans have come out and condemned the far left group, antifa, which has been espousing violence and attacking people.”

“I felt I had to come on and join you to talk about – no, this is wrong. But we have to recognize violence by any group or any set of individuals to put forth their political opinion is destructive in our country, it’s destructive to our nation, and we need to stop,” Mitchell said.

Thanks to Donald Trump we are witnessing the birth of a new Fire-Eaters Party. The robes and hoods are off. Talk of secession is not far behind.

I have to applaud the GOP’s ability to pivot the discussion from being about Trump and his clear love of nazis and white supremacists to being about statues.

Their ability to twist anything around to turn themselves into the victim is really something to behold.

If he could be a little intellectually honest he wouldn’t be a Republican apologist.
