I agree with my Uncle Skeeter who thinks the plane was hijacked by one or more space aliens, who than flew the plane to their home planet. He figured if a plane can fly in the air, ain’t no reason it can’t fly in outer space.

I’ve been playing a little game for weeks and weeks…I’ll randomly flick to CNN to see
what’s on their air. Mostly when I flick I land on a commercial but every time I’ve hit programming CNN is doing Flt. #370 stuff. Normally, I say this behavior was a joke but CNN was a laughingstock long before Flt. #370.

I have to be honest, if someone called me up and gave me those options of what happened, I totally would have picked space aliens. The idea is so ridiculous that the fact that it is in the poll it self makes the poll untrustworthy. I would like to see the cross tabs of what people who voted for the aliens picked in other votes. I wouldn’t be particularly surprised to find that the answers are not congruent. I can see 9% messing with CNN on that one.

I was at the gym this morning and they had CNN on and I saw this headline about the poll saying people want them to keep searching and I knew right away this was some drummed up poll by CNN to justify their ridiculous coverage. Do they not know that people have tuned the missing plane out and them? Geesh!!

I don’t know. As ridiculous as these poll results are, I have to admit that had I been polled, I might have gone with the most absurd response too, just for fun. More to continue to mock CNN than anything.
[caveat: the loss of life is still and will always be tragic]

CNN is unwatchable. I’d rather watch SportsCenter, and I’m a guy who can’t stand watching people talk about sports (although I enjoy watching live games.)

CNN is hideous; it’s like a parody of a news network. FOX is pure craven lies and propaganda; MSNBC is opinion sprinkled with news. MSNBC is the only one of the three that is even marginally palatable.

There’s no real cable news anymore.

CNN? Actual tragedy with actual human beings who died, leaving behind hundreds of grieving survivors, each of whom has a hole ripped into their hearts that will never completely heal.

CNN passed the point with this story where their coverage turned into necrophilia porn months ago.
