In the course of just one rally in Panama City Beach, Fla., earlier this month, he tossed out 10 “hells,” three “damns” and a “crap.” The audiences did not seem to mind. They cheered and whooped and applauded.
If McConnell were a patriot instead of a Trump stooge, he would have been impeached and removed from office by now.

Movie goers have seen this sort of thing dealing with malevolent characters who encounter and become friends or lovers with people who are more “normal”…the movie-goer sees the character act stranger and stranger as the friend or lover tries to explain or rationalize behavior more harmful and deviant.
