I sure hope Mueller saw this coming.
We will soon find out if Whitaker is as dumb as he looksâŚwould the moron take a bullet for a president that has people on his own party starting to call him out?
Muelller is in charge of ONE of the 17 investigations going on into Whiny. Seventeen! What are you going to do about those, Baldy?
Iâll go out on a limb here and say that there is a puzzle piece missing when DOJ âethics officialsâ conclude that there is no reason for the acting AG to recuse when that AG:
- Was installed at DOJ by Trump as a mole CoS to Sessions,
- Had a public history of disapproval of the Mueller investigation,
- Was installed as AG by Trump after firing Sessions,
- And was totally unqualified for the position and promoted ahead of an existing assistant AG who was qualified in every way and Senate approved.
What ethically challenged fucktard is running the Ethics Office?
Considering that he actually appears to be a bullet, this question raises some intriguing existential questions.
Hereâs a helpful chart, courtesy of Wired.com.
As much as I dislike Morning Shmoe, that a.m. show covered an interesting meeting between Whitaker and Kushner as they flew together aboard a plane recently. Hereâs the segment:
I donât know who would ever think it was acceptable that this Man-Toilet Piece Of Shit should be anywhere near this investigation. Totally bonkers. I seem to recall seeing an article or mention on twitter, but havenât located it yet, where Whitaker was meeting with Flynn at the WH soon after the Meathead was installed as Pr*sident (thereâs even a picture of it)âŚand its not clear exactly what he was doing there either. Iâll try to find what Iâm talking aboutâŚ
OK. Hereâs the link I saw over this photo of Flynn and Whitaker walking on the colonnade at the WH together. Saw it at DailyKos. Sometimes a good source, sometimes not. Seems worth looking into anyway. Hopes this works but you have to click on the link to see the photo:
So thatâs way before Whitaker joined the DoJ as Sessionsâ Chief of Staff.
Investigations up to their eyeballs
You were on target. Hope you saw the update to the TPM article.
I really donât think he needs to worry about it.
When the FIRST version of this story came out, I said it was âdubiousâ.
This LATER version is no less dubious, and wonât be the last we hear as the version Whitaker wanted out gets conditioned and undergoes correction and turns into mush.
DoJ internal ethics is a total pit bull on this sort of thing and will. not. let. go.
Ever. There are well over 100,000 DoJos, FBI agents and department employees who function by the same book and as a group they simply will not tolerate or allow Whitaker to function by some status he makes up.
IMO this increases the chances that Whitaker gets his butt hauled in on the complaints about fraud that surround that moronic patent scam he was involved in and his own involvement.
What I SUSPECT he was going for here is some status that made it LOOK like heâs the fully functioning AG, while using a sort of âvoluntary restrictionsâ status in certain areas, such as the actual supervision of Mueller.
So itâs like Toad and his stupid effing wall: his intended audience for the scam he planned on carving out to deceive his audience is smelling that heâs Large Man Potty Bowl deep in a deception and now heâs scrambling.
It will not turn out well for either one of them.
I remember Comeyâs reaction to the question about Whitaker, a loud NO COMMENT and he walked away. Itâs not only that Whitaker has had shady dealings in the past, that he is a Trump flunky who pumped out comments against the Mueller inquiry for months, apparently to get the attention of the Hulk in the WH. Itâs not only that, itâs because he is too unqualified and stupid to be an Attorney General.
That means, âYes.â
Whitaker is hopelessly biased. He cannot be objective when it comes to the Mueller investigation.
Of course he relies on his own appointed aides to make a decision on an ethical question and wonât ask the office formally charged with investigation of ethic questions what to do, weak though it has been.
Iâd go beyond finding appearance of bias as a possible basis to recuse to a demonstration of bias that would leave doubt in the mind of a reasonable person that he (Whittaker) cannot proceed with prejudice and that therefor he must recuse. His earlier statements indicate bias and I have yet to see anything clearly disavowing his previous views or explaining how he has returned to successfully holding an open mind pending further review.
The people at the center of the Mueller probe must be asking themselves this question daily -
âWhat the fuck more do they want?â
There is more real evidence out there than should ever be needed for impeachment. We canât find the smoking gun because of all the smoke and guns flying around.
Thatâs not what it says. âEthics officialsâ told him to recuse. His own advisers, who are not referred to as âethics officialsâ (being his hand-picked toadies) told him âkeep your eyes on the prize, donât recuse.â
< note: I read it this AM, perhaps that wasnât made as clear before the update.>
The only things Whitaker can do at this point are 1) leak to Trump and 2) deep six Muellerâs report when it comes out in about 5 weeks. I think number 1 is more likely than number 2. That report would likely leak to the congress in a New York minute.
Obviously Barr was looking for a job.
