On the list of reasons why this guy shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the government, this is about #51

Lock Him Up.

In his own jail, no less.

Let’s not forget Mrs. Trump cribbing the speech of Michele Obama at the RNC convention.
Original thoughts are incompatible with being a Trump supporter.

The guy murders prisoners. So CNN makes a big deal of this plagiarism?
Oh, I get it.
CNN won’t cover a story unless they can say Both Sides Do It.

Honorable Sheriff Clarke responds with a statement:
"Even though large tracts of Europe my thesis and many old and famous States my thesis have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo Main/Lamestream media and all the odious apparatus of non-Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Waupaca, Minocqua, Oconomowoc, and Milwaukee, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender our ridiculous cowboy hats.

I am sure this hateful bigot is a god-fearing, church-going, jesus-hugging christian. You must be amoral, have no shame, no values to be part of the sexual predator and pussy-grabbing, Russian spy’s administration.

That would be cruel and unusual punishment.

He always struck me as the kind of guy who would tie a brick to your cat, set it on fire, and throw it through your window. Oh, wait … never mind.

Trump is simply the figurehead of a broader movement of self-righteous thugs who believe they are more virtuous and more righteous than most people.

Extremism in defense of virtue is no vice.

They claim their self-ascribed status bestows on them the right to ignore the law, to cut to the front of the line, to steal what they want, and, in the case of Trump, cavort and collude with criminals.

Lying, plagiarism, aggression, dehumanization, torture… they consider all of these to be legitimate tools they — only they — can use to advance their personal, selfish interests.

And it works. Russian intelligence is in the Oval Office, and Newt Gingrich is setting up shop in the Vatican.

Inhuman treatment of other human beings? Meh.

Plagiarism? Holy shit he needs to go! How awful!

Sane, rational moral standards at work.

Trump plagiarized his whole presidency from Nixon and Pinochet.

Yep. My first reactions were, “What is all that crap on his ‘uniform,’ and why do sheriffs all think they are four star generals?”

I hope you mean set the brick on fire, because that’s a standard Cat-Ninja move. Makes a great entrance.

Because five-star general is only a wartime rank?

Before that she lied about how she wrote it with hardly any help, and of course her official bio claimed she had a degree in architecture when she actually quickly dropped out of college to become a soft porn model, then made her way to the US to work illegally on a tourist visa.

Can’t even plagiarize a good cover story.
