You canât just have Jeffrey Toobin come on and say, âThe president totally obstructs justice, like all the time, and he talks like an idiot too,â and then cut to an empty chair from which emanates an uncomfortable silence. Thatâs not a political interview show. A talking heads show has to have some sort of tension, or people wonât watch it.
