Oh to be a fly on that wall…

This is either really good or really bad. Other than that I am exhausted after this day. I think the whole country is. I am so tired of the division. Can’t we come together on certain basic things like conducting a thorough investigation on whether or not the man we are considering putting on the nation’s highest court is a sexual predator? Can’t we give these woman the benefit of the doubt? An FBI investigation would do that. After that I would be more than willing to accept the verdict, even if it wasn’t the one I want.

Unfortunately, my guess is that the three Republicans are telling Manchin it’s a done deal and asking for some bipartisan cover.

What does this mean for those of us cowering under the covers … ?

Take a look at the voting record of those four senators. I am sorry, I just give up.

Who knows? It could be as basic as sitting around over tea and discussing who was more credible. A vote for Kavanaugh is a vote to dismiss the seriousness of the allegations. At the very least the vote should be postponed and there should be an investigation into the charges. I hope that is what happens. I think it would be better for the country too. Do the investigation and let the chips fall where they may.

Jesus, guys. You’ve got the cover you need. Feinstein pressed him just a little on an FBI investigation and Kavanaugh cracked like Mob cement. I know little girls who don’t bawl that much during a spinal tap.

You could be right—they could be asking about it. But I think there’s no way that any Democrat—even Manchin— could one for K after what Democrats were accused of today.

I am wondering how Flake’s ‘Conscience of a Conservative’ is going to behave.

Not going to happen. A delay for an FBI investigation puts them up against the possibility that if he’s not nominated, there won’t be enough time in the lame duck session to get another SC nominee confirmed.

also, um… all the yelling? I mean, come on. He’s not even close to being professional enough for any court, let alone the SCOTUS.

I know. The reactor at Chernobyl didn’t melt down as much as Kavanaugh. He did everything but call Feinstein ‘uppity.’

So they’re going to bum rush a potential sexual assaulter because of the calendar? That could backfire big time.

Hey, there are lots of OTHER names on the Heritage Foundation’s list. There must be somebody else on it who says Whiny doesn’t have to obey a subpeona from Mueller.

Oh, listen to you! – ‘Uppity’ is only for black people. Although, DiFi is a Jew lady, so there’s that.

Maybe Kava-nope has some ‘friendly’ notions about gerrymandering in addition to his other proclivities.

She’s a woman too. Give Brett a dark alley and a six pack and she’ll look very ‘uppity’ to him.

Welcome to the Republic. Love, Love, Love the Founding Fathers, especially for their human faults, but don’t think they envisioned these clowns holding the balance of the highest court in their hands.

(Certainly OK to point out that of course they didn’t as 1/2 of the Senators mentioned are wimmen folk)
