Bashing the media seems like a really stupid strategy. Sure, the hard core tea party supporters will like it, but everyone else is turned off by it, and good luck getting positive coverage in the media, or getting the benefit of the doubt from them.
Ask a dozen Republicans their opinion of the media and 11 out of 12 will bash the “liberal” media at length. It’s not just the hard core tea party supporters that spout that.
How long before the sTrumpet takes a page from the Spiro Agnew playbook and calls the press “nattering nabobs of negativism?”
