Unlike Jeff Sessions, Frankin never claimed he didn’t remember their meeting.
No, and unlike Roy Moore and Donnie Dumbfuck, he apologized and is otherwise a champion for women.
Oh my God, he mentioned her name! And referred to a model as “beautiful.” Smoking gun!
I guess I must be missing something here about the significance of this revelation.
My basic thought here is that the Republicans sure are good at playing the media. (Or equally the media sure is good at being played.)
Where in this story did Frankin deny knowing the accuser?
How is this a thing?
So what is this supposed to mean. Nobody is saying they don’t know each other. They worked on the same USO tour, they were co-hosts, whatever that means, she is beautiful and calling her beautiful is what show business people do. I don’t get it.
Um…so??
Trump has certainly never been shy about commenting on women’s looks, beautiful or otherwise.
Yeah, google Trump and beautiful and see how many tens of thousands of times he’s used the phrase.
Plus, although I’ve never heard of her before and haven’t followed her career, wasn’t she basically there as eye candy for the troops? So she joined the show because she’s…beautiful?
This is starting to feel like a hit job more than a straight up accusation.
I am not discussing the photo or the alleged unwanted kiss, but this specific article is literally nothing.
…it is clearly sexual harassment which makes her kiss claim credible…Lets just hope this is the only woman he acted like this with because he’s one of the greatest senator’s of our generation,
This is about unf**king our culture. Regardless of D’s and R’s. However, this won’t end with Franken. There’s plenty to be uncovered on a lot of the folks in Congress.
Way overdue.
Calling her beautiful is harassment?
The USO makes a habit of hiring ugly girls?
I’m referring to the photo being harassment not the beautiful comment
He is not even the best senator from his home state.
Millions would beg to differ.
What tipped you off? The fact that Roger fucking Stone was tweeting about it the night before the story broke?
This is appropos of…nothing…he said her name when discussing a USO tour.
He hasn’t denied knowing her. He’s said he was wrong in a VERY thoughtful response.
The quote is so out of context that it really doesn’t add anything to the story.
Amy Klobuchar was elected to the Senate in 2006 by 58-38% and was reelected in 2012 by 61-35%. Al Franken was elected in 2008 by 312 votes in a recount and was reelected in 2014 by 53-43%. It seems that the voters of Minnesota prefer Klobuchar.
These millions you refer to seem to be people who judge senators by the zingers they can toss out during televised congressional hearings. Franken is very good at that. When it comes to doing actual senate work, though, Klobuchar has accomplished way, way more than Franken and I am sure Al would be the first to say that.
To a lot of folks, though, she is still only a woman taking a selfie with John McCain and Bernie Sanders.
