I thought when moderators asked them question, the questions were not answered they just wanted to give their talking points, then when their time ran out, they complained that CNBCâs moderators did not what them to answer the question.

Donât the candidates realize that they created the conditions for this? CNBC saw that during the first two debates all these clowns did was avoid serious questions and instead insulted and ridiculed each other, and probably figured thatâs what they wanted to keep talking about (and 20 million people wanted to watch) â what a dick the other guy is. When you act like a bunch of immature buffoons, donât be surprised when people treat you accordingly. I wouldnât be surprised if they decide to just turn the fourth debate into a food fight.

Funny how they cry about âthe mediaâ when CNBC is Fox ânewsâ light and they need âthe mediaâ to get their message out. A President, as weâve seen the last 8 years, has to be able to answer all the questions without complaining about âthe mediaâ and gotcha questions. That is real leadership, not these tools on stage Wednesday night.

YeahâŚthe GOP criticisms are way off mark. But CNBC did an absolutely horrible job. Quite literally from start to finishâŚthey started 15 minutes late, and filled the time with probably the most inane babble I have seen before a debateâŚand ended with Harmon trying to deny that CNBC originally planned for a 3 hour debate.
They were really, really bad.

That the media is virtually 100% corporately owned and operated.
That Right Wing media mogul Murdock owns both Fox and the Wall Street Journal.
That by far the âexpertsâ called upon by the media to âexplainâ to the citizenry are from Right Wing âThink Tanksâ
That economists (the new saviors and sages of this age) are virtually all employees of corporations or Right Wing âThink Tanksâ.
That many many radio audiences receive only programming from and controlled by the Right Wing.
None of this apparently is acknowledged by the Republicans who viewed this debate and applauded the âmedia bashingâ.

I hate this âwon the debateâ shit. There is waaaay too much attention on the dynamics between candidates by the mass media.
Candidates have goals they want to achieve during the debate. Who had what goals, and who achieved them? If your writers canât speculate on that, find someone informed on such matters.

The moderators were horrible at moderating and seemed unprepared; the candidates ran roughshod over them the whole night. They didnât answer questions, but went on tirades and stump speeches, and ran over their time consistently. Rather than complain they should be thanking CNBC for their incompetence.

Harwood is the only decent journalist on the panel. Rick SantelliâŚreally. Ranting ultra conservative Rick known for making a fool of himself when he gets upset. CNBC created an accident waiting to happen before the debate even began. How about some serious journalist asking real questions. I like to see Gwen Ifell, Judy Woodruff, Matt Tiabbi, Michael Isakoff,âŚhow about some of better print journalists. Voters need a new format where every question comes with a follow up question.
