Discussion for article #222707
American politics look extremely polarized to insiders too,
Politics more and more polarized, the ice caps less and less so.
Gee, this is a surprise.
Anyway, since you never mentioned the word democrat in your rant, I already knew that you weren’t praising that party. Of course, you weren’t specifically criticizing them either. You really weren’t even criticizing your beloved Grand Old Party as much as the far right wing cancer that’s attached itself to it and indeed, seems to control it right now.
I got it. Now what are you morons going to do about it?
Larry, can I get a list of those people who have been silenced in recent years by the Democratic Party for their opposition to abortion?
If you’re expecting a coherent answer from Kudlow, don’t. He comes very close to foaming at the mouth when it comes to his opinion of the Dem Party.
Strangely, I haven’t noticed a whole lot of silence from the anti-abortion crowd. Just who is Kudlow talking about?
Kudlow and O’Reilly, I have difficulty telling the difference.
Oh! You mean you’re a “fiscal conservative” like how the Republicans blew a surplus, put two wars and an unfunded entitlement program on the credit card and left a trillion dollar deficit for the next president. And like how the Republicans quadrupled the national debt with an ill-conceived “Star Wars” fantasy while selling weapons to our enemies to conduct another unfunded war in Central America? That kind of “fiscal conservative”?? Moron.
That and the fact that he said he believed in small government (just who’s helped make it bigger, btw), except sometimes, when we need the federal government to do things (he didn’t mention specifics, however).
This guy is just a mass of messed up talking points and seems to drift in and out of the bubble into reality and back again.
“…American politics looks extremely polarized to outsiders.”
On the one hand you have a political party that denies facts, science, history and basic reality. On the other hand you have a political party that doesn’t.
Extremely polarized!
Seriously, this is like attending a funeral picketed by the Westboro Baptist church and then complaining that the event looks extremely polarized to anyone walking past.
It is exhausting to read this stuff day after day after day. Someone says something then they walk it back. The republican machine is beyond belief.
“When I look at all of the different social issues, I would be willing as a voter to sacrifice a bad economic policy – or one maybe I didn’t agree with – if it was better than some big social agenda I cannot get on board with… That’s the point I was trying to make.”
What does that word salad even mean?
I must have missed where CNBC ceased to be a business network focused on the economical issues and policies of the day, and became a social issues network.
Because, Benghazi?
morning ho never fails
CNBC has been staffed with rightwing idiots long, long before Benghazi. At least a decade, in my memory. Anyone who watches CNBC for business news is an idiot. Unless they keep the sound off and just watch the ticker all day. And then, I’m not so sure…
This is the eleventy-bazillionth example of the MSM people not allowing themselves to simply say the Republicans have gone nuts. It’s one thing not to be partisan, but it’s another to deny reality. At least this guy lost his patience and blurted out what he really thought. He then curtsied in the direction of “objectivity,” but at least what he said is out there.
Yes, God forbid that any talking head anywhere on TV praise any Democrat. That is grounds for immediate firing on most stations. Praising the GOP is ok, of course. IOKIYAR
kernan/kudlow/santielli=pure propaganda
the stupidity and hatred from republicans is because they have no effective fiscal policy. Ike warned of the jerkoffs that produced this outcome before they destroyed the liberal policies Ike use to enrich the generation after his presidency.
